I purchased this set for micro macrame bracelets. The thread is very thin but feels substantial when workong. It is ideal for making consistent knots and the colors are vibrant without being garish. The thread is strong and smooth, and very waxy without being "crusty". Knots can be tied with a variety of tensions without un-tying themselves. The colors are compatible with my large bead collection as well, so designing pretty pieces is easy and fun. I've looked for years for this quality and variety and I am very pleased!

I start projects by dabbing the tip(s) with nail polish, letting them dry and then getting to work. These threads are sturdy and the colors are rich.

This little set is great if you do small projects or just testing them out. I chose this for the 0.45mm size, since it has the most yardage. If you get the other sizes, you get very little.Overall, it was a bit on the pricey side for small amount of thread each, but you get a good amount of colors that you can use. One thing is that I can't seem to find a larger roll of these threads by the same maker, so that means if you need a large amount, you will not find any. The wax on these are stiff and can poke an eye out...more or less. It is not bad once you start stitching as it will get more flexible.I got these to stitch my Blythe size shoes I made since it requires thinner thread. I normally use flat waxed threads so these are a new feeling. I do love it and the colors look great!Even with the small rolls, I will still be able to make many projects like this. I actually re-ordered another set of these colors plus the rainbow set right before this review too!

This thread is nice to work with, and most of the colors in this set are nice. However, it is a relatively small amount of each color and they only sell this in sets that are pretty expensive, so keep the size of your project in mind (which I didn’t). I am around halfway done with this pine needle basket and have used the full roll of black, and unfortunately the whole roll of dark green without being able to finish my wrapped row, meaning I will be paying about $19 for maybe 2-3 yards of thread to finish the row.

Wanted a sturdier option in a small size for mala making. This is perfect.

I like the tiny diameter of this thread. It is ideal for stringing smaller (3-6mm) beads. I will use it to hang charms on my junk journals since it will pass through the smaller holes. Love the assortment of colors as well.
