I bought the LEGO Harry Potter Talking Sorting Hat for a friend’s birthday — he’s 72, loves tinkering around the house, and is a huge Harry Potter fan. He was thrilled with the hat itself, even before discovering that it talks with 31 voices! He’s looking forward to building it with his nephew over the holidays and seeing which house the Sorting Hat places them in. This set is a fantastic gift for Potterheads of any age and provides both a fun build and a magical interactive experience. Highly recommend for fans young and old!

This Lego set was fun and easy to build and has been an absolute hit with adult and child Harry Potter fans alike! There are are two different ways to activate the sound, either by pressing down the top of the hat or placing the hat on someone’s head which pushes up a button on the middle of the bottom of the hat. The sound clip played seems to be randomized so you never know which house you’re going to get! The eyebrows and mouth move at the same time that the sound activates and are sturdy and a fun detail. The buildable stand showing off the four houses is a nice way to display the hat when it is not being used. The only minor complaint I have about the hat is that it is smaller than I was expecting when it is fully built. It is probably half the size of most other Sorting Hat toys and props I have seen. That being said, it is still a lot of fun!

Harry Potter fan must have! This Lego is nice and big and TALKS! Is easy and fun to put together great details and kids love that it talks and sorts you into a house u never know what’s it’s going to say no matter how many time u press it!

i got this for my mother for mother’s day as she is a huge harry potter fan. this was worth every penny i spent. it’s lego, and the quality has always been good for myself and my family with lego. the speaker is awesome. very fun activity for all the family.

My wife loved this gift!! Took her no time to build and is such a cool feature that it has a ton of different phrases. Price is right for this awesome collectable.

This thing is awesome. My mom is a huge Harry Potter fan, and we got her this for her 70th birthday. She had granddaughter help her put it together right away and now keeps it on display. Everyone who comes over has to pull the switch to find out what house they're in. Kids and adults enjoy.

We bought this for our 10 year old granddaughter. She had no trouble putting it together all by herself. She absolutely loves it and is still playing with it 4 months later. She has lots of Harry Potter lego sets and this is one of her favorites.
