I have a few pair of Sureway boots as well as other brands. When I saw these boots available I ordered them because of the darker almost tobacco colored leather and the wedge sole. The fact that they are made by Sureway was another thing that made them a no brainer to order, Sureway makes really good boots at reasonable prices. This is my first pair of 8” boots, previously only had 4-6” boots.The leather uppers on these boots are really nice, it’s soft and flexes well without wrinkling. The color is amazing, even better in person that it is on the product page. I put the water proofing to an easy test, I wore them to pressure wash the back patio, they kept my feet dry and didn’t have any discoloration from the water that got all over the leather. No break in period needed with this soft leather.The inside of the boot is comfortable; the tongue has mild padding and there is padding around the top portion as well. As with all Sureway boots I have these came with two pairs of insoles and as usual I stuck with the pre installed insole because it is so comfortable. The ankle lining has a suede feel, I had higher socks but it seems this would be easy on the ankles with just the lining.The construction appears to be a true Goodyear welt, I pulled the leather away from the welt and there is no cement or glue present. The welt is a synthetic material though, it is not a leather welt. Synthetic welts can crack and split over time increasing the price of a resole because the welt would need to be replaced as well. I do very light duty work on polished concrete so this is not a concern for me but maybe for other people. The wedge sole is nice and soft underfoot, I really like wedge soles! Overall I am very pleased with these boots and looking forward to wearing them for years to come.

Sureway makes great boots. I have a lot of them, and if you peruse my other reviews, you'll see that to be the case. I have never given any of them less than a five-star review, and this pair is no exception.Not, however, the kind of boot that I would wear around every day, casual style, but I do know that some people do. These are heavy, heavy-duty boots that should work well in construction (where steel toes are not needed) hunting, and wherever a strong, well-made boot is needed. I know some old-time boxers would wear army boots when they jogged, for the extra weight, but for me (and I'm old-time but not a boxer) these boots are not for casual wear or athletic endeavors.The quality is there, but the fit may not be right for you, so the only way to see is to try them on.For what it is, what it does, and what it costs: Five StarsI am the Totally Unbiased Reviewer Dude (T.U.R.D.) and that is how I see it.

These are a very unique pair of boots, I'm not sure I've seen any that look quite like these, but that's not a bad thing. They're quite bulky/chunky overall, but the construction quality is great and the material choices are solid. I think they'd hold up well to abuse, though I don't plan to abuse them too much. I found the fit good and the boot itself comfortable. Seems like a good option if you are looking for a durable, heavy boot. 5/5

Rugged pair of premium leather work boots. "Lightweight" is a relative term here - they are light compared to steel-toed, thick-soled safety boots but they're obviously much heavier than a pair of tennis shoes. As heavy as you'd expect for a pair of thick leather boots.Craftsmanship is exceptional for a mass market boot, especially at the price point. Beautiful soft leather with a uniform stain, impeccable stitching, and a classic design. Plenty of padding on the inside - could maybe do with some additional arch support - but otherwise comfortable and sturdy and built to get beaten up. A little bit of chemical smell right out of the box - smells like the stuff they use to dye the leather - but it dissipated after a day or two in the open air.I've reviewed several pairs of SUREWAY boots now. I'm continually impressed with their ability to deliver a high quality real leather boot at a reasonable price point. These boots are no different. Top notch, and highly recommended.

This is my review of SUREWAY 8” Work Boots for Men - Soft Toe 10.5 size. I find these boots to be very comfortable and they fit well. This is the first time I had tall boots. This can pose a challenge in getting your foot inside, I found it easy to loosen the shoestrings from top to bottom to get my foot in. The size is accurate, and the shoe provides full support. This is the second pair of boots from this brand, and I am very happy with the quality. I use them in construction work as I am on my feet all day. I feel they are light weight but durable. The soles are solid and do not slip. I highly recommend these boots to anyone who works on their feet all day. They have exceeded my expectations; therefore, I am rating them 5 stars.

I have a few pairs of Sureway work boots and I have been happy with all of them. This pair is no exception.. They are well made of quality materials and extremely comfortable to wear, thus reducing fatigue over long days. These do not have a safety toe, so be aware of that...but, that is why they are so comfortable and easy to wear...lighter weight and more flexible toe box. The quality of the leather is very good and the color and finish is even and well done....though, that only really matters on the first impression out of the box...once you wear them for a few days on the job they will get scuffed and scraped like any other boot....but, they at least look very nice for the first few days. I think that they are worth the price...all day long!
