Star Wars -- A Musical Journey: Music from Episodes I - VI (Five Finger Piano) (5 Finger)

Being a pianist myself, I was looking forward to checking this sheet music out, but when I saw the melody parts, I was thoroughly disappointed. As it says, it's for 5-finger, but even for that, I find it a bit simple, too simple in fact. The melodies are not written as they are in the movies, so if you expect to have your playing sound like the epic music from the epic films, you will be disappointed. If you really want to play music, then you should take lessons and learn about the theory of music, which will help you along the way. - that being said, the theory is completely disregarded in the melody parts, which to me, caused more confusion than understanding.To mention a few positive things about the product: the photos look great and the accompanying voices are alright as backing for the melodies.A very accomplished pianist, more than myself, might be able to play all 4 systems (melody + accompaniment) at the same time.
