Very good security
Yes, I have a great alarm system, but I put these locks on all three of my doors. Great reinforcement locks.

Great for added security
A great alternative to chains and hooks.These latches seem to be good quality materials and should withstand moderate force.They are easy to install and came with an assortment of screw sizes.Can be used on most any door.Price is a very good value.

Great sliding lock Alternative
These are excellent for a sliding latch alternative! I have fancy mahogany doors and I didn’t want to drill directly into the door but I wanted the extra safety of an additional lock! These are perfect i drill into the frame not door and the lock can be placed high up which a nice feature to prevent children from opening door. They are well made and easy to install.
