Vital component of phonics small group instruction.
This set provided so much engagement for my literacy groups. Love the placemats and opportunities for word ladders and board games! Suggestion: get the larger sized zipper pouches with matching colors and keep the wipeoffs and tiles in them. Color code everything, and you'll have an easier time keeping track of where pieces need to go.

Great idea for independent practice or small group
This is perfect for independent practice or small groups! I found ways to apply it for every phonics skill we covered. I also love how easy it was to organize with the color-coded trays and mats in addition to the letter tiles color-coded by phonics skill. It aligned well with both HD Word and UFLI.

Amazing!
Love this! I made a similar blending board, Manila folders, lamination, cardstock and Velcro… ruined within 4 months! Somethings are just not supposed to be made with cheap materials. There is nothing cheap about Hand2mind products!

We received a set from our school. I liked it so much that I purchased my own set. The only down fall is that if you put all the letters on the board, it doesn’t give much space to make words. It is hard for my little to find the letters. I have to have the boards prepared ahead of time with the tiles we will be using. I don’t always have time for this!
