I ordered a size Medium because my arms are about 11inches around right now with swelling (the sizing chart on their website is accurate for sure!). I wear the garmet on the 3nd clasp (tightest setting) in between my shoulder blades, my shoulder to shoulder measurement is 15 inches. The garmet does not dig into my armpits (I have an incision line in that area) and sits really comfortably. The compression is perfect, snug, and has really helped releave swelling pain. It is also very breathable, so I am not overheating at night, like I was with other brands. I washed and dried the garmet the day I recieved it, and had no issues. I will be ordering a smaller size when the swelling goes down more. UPDATE: Ordered the size small and it is great, a little smaller in the shoulder area, which is good for me. Otherwise same review for the small and medium size.
