This cable was perfect, high quality solid core 2.5mm with thick insulation. States the outer diameter is 11.2mm I think but I used a 10mm masonry and wiggled it a bit and that was fine, that was through your standard concrete block and using the hammer on the drill, this tends to oversize holes slightly anyway.

Just the job great cable

Built a shed to store mobility scooters and needed power from house to shed for a socket and a light I needed tough cable but didn't want to pay the price of SWA as the cable would be buried under concrete I came across this cable by this seller and ordered it the socket and light is now wired in I found this cable east to strip and terminate will be ordering again to hook electric up to a greenhouse

This cable is as described, but I did not spot that it has solid copper conductive wires. In fact I did not realise that round cable was available with solid conductors, so I was not even looking out for it as a choice, although to be fair it is noted in the description. It was just about OK for an outside light that I was reconnecting, but it was awkward to do because the solid wires do not bend easily into the correct shape for connecting to the terminals in the small spaces available.
