I had 4 other different kinds of sharpeners and all of them were cracking my colored pencils and regular pencils and I won't even start on how hard it is to find a good sharpener for my watercolor colored pencils. As a finish carpenter, I use a pencil a lot. I need to sharpen my pencil dozens of times a day and these are great. I carry these every day and prefer these over all others. I highly recommend these sharpeners.

This is my favorite pencil sharpener I've tried so far. Only way it could be better is if they had a long point version. I've purchased 7 of these babies so far, and they're all great quality (even though they're made in China). I use colored pencils a lot and I'm always looking for the perfect sharpener, and this seems to perform better - for me - than the German made Kum, Staedtlers, and Baumgarten's. Not to say those other choices are bad, I just prefer the greater heft with this sharpener and it seems to slice through pencils so much smoother.

This is a nice, solid pencil sharpener. My pencils (from work) were always breaking off in the electric sharpener, so I got this one. It works great--sharpens the lead without breaking it.

When I was a kid, there was no such thing as a pencil sharpener that didn't work, but today, every piece of garbage I tried just break the pencil point. I decided to spend a little more on this metal version and it brought back memories of not having to worry about using a portable pencil sharpener. Work like a charm every single time. Don't try to get any fancy looking garbage from you know what country. Get this one.

Apesar de não ter um reservatório para guardar as partes apontadas, o apontador é muito bom. Tinha comprado outros antes, com reservatórios, mas ou eles não apontavam direito, ou quebravam logo. Este é resistente e aponta bem.

We've all used low quality pencils before and know the horrors of sharpening the tip only to have it break off due to cheap construction or abuse to the delicate graphite inside. Well Maped have thought of that too. Open ends to both sharpening chambers ensures any loose led will fall out naturally and we can continue sharpening without missing a turn. Yes this truly is a masterly crafted tool for professionals and enthusiasts alike.
