Writing this review a good year after purchase. Couldn't be happier with this clock. It works, it keeps quite good time, and was everything the seller claimed it would be. In the time I've had it, I've changed the D-cell battery once. about eight months in. It's completely silent except for a very subtle "pat" as a leaf falls down to reveal the next digit once a minute.Take a moment to fully read the directions before you set this up. Nothing complicated, but they clarify a couple of things that aren't immediately obvious.Glad I purchased it. Highly recommended if you like this style of clock.

My son bought this for his desk, he wanted something “old timey.” This is a classic look and takes a 9 volt battery (the square ones!) so make sure you purchase or have that on hand.

The retro style goes perfect in our office. I’ve been using the clock for over a week and have had no issues with the time running too quickly or slowly.

Clock is beautiful, but it runs slow and not accurate. It's only been 2 weeks since I opened it and it's already had to be reset 3 times.

This clock is the perfect little addition to my record player setup. The clock feels sturdy and heavy enough not to be knocked over by a cat or slight bump of your desk. Set up for the clock was really simple, although mine seems to be about 30 seconds late no matter what I do. The clock is not loud and you will barely notice it unless you happen to sit next to it. For my setup, it’s perfect.
