I have purchased a lot of frames, but never wanted to spend a lot of money. I have a few wood frames for rare story boards and few plastic or metal frames on prints. The one thing they all have in common is costing far more than they were worth. The single use tabs, the crumbling particle board backers, and all the other subtle features that are easily hidden from view leave you paying twice what it's worth. Not here.You get a fake wood frame with a nearly plastic sheet that is held down by a cardboard back with swivel tabs. It is exactly how a frame under $10 should be made, while still justifying every single dollar spent. The frame is wide enough to look classy and the cover is thick enough to protect what's under it. The back can even be opened and closed more than twice. It came with film covering BOTH sides of the "glass" and not just the outside, so I didn't have to clean it before trying to add a picture.The frame is light as air, since it's not made to be used as a Frisbee. It is sturdy enough not to fall apart when inserting a picture, so that's all I could really expect. I bought this for a print that looked neat without any significant value. I may even replace a few frames I purchased back when it was popular to use the squeeze clips with metal rims.

Reviewers who complain about plexiglass clearly don’t understand that glass exponentially increases the price of a frame. Glass is also unnecessarily heavy for larger poster frames. The difference in appearance is negligible anyway. I prefer plexiglass bc of the light weight and decreased likelihood of it breaking.This poster frame is clean and modern looking with accurate measurements. It is simple to insert your artwork and mounting on the wall is straightforward with the two hooks on the backing for both horizontal or vertical hanging.Several reviews also complain of shipping damage. Fortunately this was not an issue for me, it was well packaged though probably not packaged well enough to endure rough handling during the shipping process. However, even if it was damaged, lets not pretend the Amazon return process isn’t fast and simple. At this quality and price point, it is easily worth the risk of having to return and reorder.

Definitely not high end, but was it super easy to mount my print and make it look awesome? H*ck, yes. I've been sad about my print of Two Rats being in a seemingly odd size (8x12) and this frame was perfect. Again, not high end, not glass, but looks super awesome and is so light that I can use a commando strip to hang it in my apartment. Totally going to be purchasing more to finally hang favorite photos and prints.

I ordered 3 8×10 frames and one of them has corners on all 4 sides that are scuffed and brown showing (i got black framed) so that really sucks but the other 2 are good. Good photo frames otherwise for an affordable price. Has plastic instead of glass which works perfectly for me for my bathroom and having kids so no worries of broken glass.

This review is for the 11x17 frame (it came with a mat).At first glance you might call this frame flimsy. It is very lightweight, the plastic “glass” is extremely thin, and so is the mat. However, the frame has some great qualities, too.First, the corners are perfectly joined together, and it arrived with no nicks or scratches. That’s rare to find even in a store selling $50 frames. Second, I didn’t need the mat, but even though it’s thin it is a bright white and has a small bevel on the inner cuts. Third, the star of the frame is its backing. The hanging tabs are firmly attached as are the side pieces that slide into the frame. Those side pieces are even springy so they slide in just perfectly. And finally, it is true to size. I didn’t need to trim down my poster or deal with gaps.I am very impressed with the quality of the frame especially considering the price.

Honestly, I was a bit surprised when I opened the box for these. I thought that I was getting picture frames with glass, but was pleasently surprised that the "glass" was acctually a plastic material. I have kids and was worried if they got knocked off the wall that the glass would break. But then I was worried that being plastic that the clarity of the photo through it wouldn't be the best; but again I was pleasently surprised that the images showed perfectly. They have a super classic look to them, and they were super easy to install the photo and hang up, the quality is also great and they function perfect! I will be buying more because I have more poaters this size to hang up!

Worked very well to mount my art work. The plexiglass is much lighter than glass and doesn’t break. The fram is easy to take apart and reassemble.

I love this picture frame!! The frame itself is gorgeous and looks expensive, but is so affordable. The only downside is that the “glass” is plastic and will give a distorted reflection in certain lighting, but for the price- worth it!
