pretty nice scope for the price
I have a Milwaukee scope that I paid a couple hundred dollars for several years ago. It works great but only has a 36" cable and is a little larger. This scope has a 16' cable and although it is simi-rigid and does not go easily around tight bends, but it does reach in much farther. The Milwaukee doesn't bend around corners either and does not fit in small openings. Since it works with my I-phone it comes with more features than the Milwaukee and can record pictures and video on the phone. And being waterproof, it can work in drains. It has a button that changes the focus in 90-degree increments which is handy. The 8 led lights give enough illumination to get a pretty good view and there is a magnification button to enlarge the picture. It's not a high resolution but is good enough for inspection and I think I will be finding a lot of uses for the scope. It also came with a mirror, magnet and hook attachments that will be pretty useful. I didn't have a lot of luck using the mirror, but I haven't used it enough to see what it will be good for. The magnet is pretty powerful and great for retrieving tools and parts that fall under cabinets and benches. The hook could be handy but may cause problems if it gets hooked on something heavy or attached as is could be difficult to maneuver to get it unhooked. All in all, a handy tool to have.

Handy little camera
I picked this up to be ablexto scope wall interiors for electrical work and/or plumbing. I've recently had occasion to use it for looking at some floor drain lines. I'm not sure I would drop the camera into a submerged situation, but a mildly wet environment didn't cause any problem. Worked like a champ!
