does the job
Fitted bulb and tested it for a few hours and no problems at all. Fitted into the bulb holder, good light, though as stated not a heat lamp, so no use in the colder months. For the price i would probably just buy a heat lamp.

Surprisingly short lifespan.
The UV bulb I received turned on and looked fantastic - for all of about 1/2 a second before it burnt out / died.Other than not working it looks very nice and there was no damage to the packaging. I've no clue if this was just a faulty one-off or a common thing with these bulbs.Based on the fact the one I received lit up for about as long as it took for those initial photons from it to reach my eyes I would struggle to justify recommending this bulb to anyone.
