Holders for smaller pencils and pens
Work great for smaller pens, mechanical pencils and standard wood pencils. Adhesive OK on smooth, not porous surfaces, but came loose on finished wood shelf. Secured them with small nails.

Looses adhesion in short time.
Tried sticking to various cleaned and appropriate flat surfaces, but weight of even a pencil will cause the holder to separate from surface. I have towel holders that have been stuck for years without separation which I believe used a 3M product for the adhesive. Just poor quality on this. Waste of money.

Nice adhesive and reasonable grip
Backs of these have decent 3M adhesive, and appear to adhere with reasonable strength.The silicone grips work fine as well. I adhered a grip to a clipboard (which is in turn attached to my refrigerator with magnets). The grip holds a pen nicely.Should work for routing cables as well.I looked at others of these, and the price is a bit less expensive than competing items.So this appears to be a great option.
