Pretty Good but Read On
Pretty good litter for the price point. Longevity is about 2 weeks for one cat. Dust levels are moderate. The litter is light so we find evidence of the litter all over the house which requires frequent vacuuming.

Respiratory Issues
This is hands down the best crystal litter I've tried. I have two cats and one of my boys has severe allergies and respiratory issues. He can only eat rabbit and he's allergic to clay, walnut and wood litter. Crystals work, BUT the dust is insane. I have tried at least 5 different crystal litters. They are so dusty and the smell is overpowering. He would go into these sneezing attacks with every litter I tried. THIS litter is the BEST. If your cat has respiratory issues, try this litter.

Amazed by this poduct
The media could not be loaded. I recommend this brand of cat litter crytals. Highly absorbent and in my automated litter and robot litter boxes odors cannot be detected. I foster cats and kittens so the litter boxes are a concern however my friends see the cats and wouldn't believe I have them. Occasionally I do scoop and solid waste is very easily scooped. I found that this litter tracks less than the clumping clay litters. The bags of litter are easily opened and there is no fear of overfilling or underfilling; as they are premeasured. The price is less than most other crystal cat litter. This product has made a difference in my cleaning routine, it is no longer difficult or time consuming.

A suitable replacement for petSafe Scoopfree
This is pretty much a 1to1 replacement for the petSafe ScoopFree litter I've been spending almost double on for a long time. It does seem it doesn't last quite as long and I think it is a little bit more dusty when you first open it, but for the price it is worth it. Just as good in the litterbox. It doesn't smell any more than the name brand. Gets scattered just as much. It doesn't clump up or anything. It maybe doesn't dehydrate the poop as much? But still worth it even if I have to change it slightly more frequently

Worth the price. It is so much easier than traditional litter
This is more expensive than regular litter but some things in life are worth the money. I can have a male cat without the smell. It's easy to scoop the poop every evening because it is dried up and doesn't smell. and then after about three weeks, when I start to notice urine smell, I changed the litter.

Best litter I've ever tried
I have 4 cats. We've experimented with several different types and brands of litter. For a long time I had used So Phresh crystal litter with larger crystals but when my local store was out of the big bags I decided to try this. My cats now refuse to use the old stuff unless that's a completely fresh box and this one has been sitting. They would prefer a slightly dirty box of this litter. That says a ton to me! I've had it in a stainless steel box and the litter is lasting longer than I'm used to also. It's lower dust than any other litter I've used. I haven't had to worry about smells or absorbency issues. It works great. I'm about to put it to the ultimate test -- I'm going away for a few days and couldn't find a cat sitter so nobody will be scooping the box while I'm gone. I'll be back to report results, but I think I've found the Holy Grail of cat litters.Edited to add: I was gone for seven days. I have 4 cats so I put out 4 boxes of the Cocoyo mixed with the previous crystal litter I still had on hand. When I returned I decided to dump and replace the boxes (I usually keep 2 out) but I seriously could have gotten away with scooping and adding baking soda for the smells. After letting 4 cats go a week without scooping at all, that's amazing. This is definitely my brand of litter from now on!

Great product
Great value and works just as good as PetSafe product, and half the cost. You get 4 bags for 35 dollars petsafe is 3 trays for 70. Has same amount of use time also.

Silica Cat Litter vs. Corn/Walnut Litter – A Healthier Switch for My Cats and Me
After four years of using silica-based cat litters, I’ve made the switch to corn and walnut litter, and the difference has been life-changing for both my cats and me. What started as a convenient solution turned into a health nightmare, and I want to share my experience to help others avoid the same issues. When silica litters like Pretty Litter first became mainstream, they seemed like a miracle for someone like me, who is highly allergic to traditional clay litters. For the first two weeks, the silica litter worked well—it was dust-free and effective. However, over time, things changed dramatically. Despite claims of being "99% dust-free," the silica litters I used became increasingly dusty. Every time I poured the litter into the box or the cats dug in it, clouds of fine particles filled the air. My air purifier, placed near the litter box, would frequently switch from green to red, indicating dangerously high dust levels. The health impact was significant. For two years, I relied on an inhaler to manage respiratory issues, and eventually, one of my cats developed asthma. Two foster kittens I cared for also suffered—one had a scratched cornea from the dust particles that clung to her paws and irritated her eyes. The constant eye redness and discomfort required numbing drops and creams, but the problem persisted as long as we used silica litter. After extensive research and conversations with my vet, I connected the dots: the silica litter was the culprit. Despite trying multiple brands, none lived up to their "dust-free" claims. The fine particles were impossible to avoid, and shaking the bags outside didn’t help—the dust was simply too pervasive.Switching to corn and walnut litter has been a revelation. Not only is it truly dust-free, but it’s also more affordable. Within three weeks of making the switch, my cat stopped hacking, the kittens’ eye irritation cleared up, and I haven’t needed my inhaler since. The difference is night and day.If you’re considering silica litter, I urge you to think twice. While it may seem convenient, the health risks for both you and your pets aren’t worth it. Corn and walnut litter have been a game-changer for my household, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safer, healthier alternative.
