Unlike other competitors, this item arrived in a cardboard box and was protected so there were no bent pins upon arrival. I like that the cable is detachable and can be replaced with longer or shorter cables if needed.

I'm still rebuilding the computer I installed this in so it's not active yet but it's a very nice layout

One arrived dead. I installed it and nothing. Replaced it with the 2nd one and it worked. Junk!!!

I have a few ITX builds and one of the challenges I have faced with them is limited on-board fan headers. In general I have used cablemod splitters and extensions, which they sell in 3 to 1 and 5 to 1. But those are actually more work in terms of cable routing the extension wires and they are also much more expensive. These splitters let you add 4 more fans than you otherwise could using a single header, so for most systems 1 splitter will be enough.These headers have the traces on a small PCB which I guess is how they can do this at such a reasonable cost. So far I have installed one in a system and have used all the headers on it without a problem. I am hoping for similar reliability with the other one.CONCLUSIONThis is a simple product that solves a problem well and provides a great value while doing so.
