don't mess about get this for your home
So flaky wifi, dodgy ISP hubs are now a thing of the past. Don't rely on the hub posted to you by BT,Virgin, Vodafone etc (others are out there too) this has solved so many connection glitches since installation. The wifi range is better than the vodafone hub last used, and we haven't suffered a single glitch since installing.

Enterprise features in your hand
Best router I've had, all the basics done very well, so great wireless range, throughout all that, but also lots of features like Volans, meshing and built in controller. Awesome piece of kit! Software is very smooth, especially I like the network mapping, so you see what connected where, how much bandwidth is using. Awesome!Price to features is just destroying competition!

Great device
I’ve read a lot of reports that this devices gets hot, overloaded and cpu bound. I am using this with all services enabled, managing 2 Pro APs, 1 ubiquiti POE switch and 40 devices (PC, ipad, phones, cameras, NAS etc) and it is performing really well. Great device if it fits your use case

it comes with a euro plug
Very disappointing in that it comes with a euro plug.An adaptor is supplied but that's not really the pointI have a few of these and all the others came with a UK plug

Perfect for Home Network
I know some others have said this device gets hot and overloaded. It's packed full of features, and I can see that if you're trying to do advanced networking with too many features switched on at once that could happen.I've got a home network with 900/100Mbps internet, 3 VLANS and about 100 devices running on base load at any given time, and it never skips a beat. It's miles better than the free router your ISP gives you, and much better than a similarly priced TP-Link router that it replaces. (The TP-Link router was trying to tie me into subscriptions for features this router gives for free). The software is great, and makes the device easy to administer. What more can you ask for at this price?

Honestly terrible.
It's so incredibly slow as a firewall that if you complain to Ubiquiti support they will send you the UniFi Cloud Gateway Ultra for free and you can use this as just an AP. It is good as an AP at least though, and even as just an AP it's good value.

Comes with European plug so you can't use it without an adapter
It may work OK, once you've ordered a Euro to UK adapter, the box is clearly marked as for the UK market, apparently Americans don't bother reading the Wikipedia page listing which plug is used in which country. That's a pretty good insight into their level of interest once they've got your money.

On paper it's a great device but it just doesn't perform well
The device is either very under-powered or poorly optimized. With 10 clients connected it crashes regularly. With Traffic Identification and Ad blocking enabled, the CPU is always on 90% usage and the device gets really hot to the point it becomes unresponsive and the console dies.Had it less than a week and had to return since I was restarting the device 3/4 times a day. And the boot is painfully slow.
