It's Mine!

Not great!
I had high hopes for this book based on the reviews but I'm disappointed. The message of the story is not clear at all through the writing. My toddlers main take away from the book is the phrase 'its mine!' - you really have to add lot more explanation as you read it to make it clear that the frogs are happier when they share and it makes the others sad when they don't. The language used doesn't feel right for little ones at all.On the plus side, my son likes the frogs and toad pictures but that's about the only positive.

A delightful tale about the need to share what we have
A fantastically illustrated story about bickering and selfishness which are turned around. Small children will enjoy the text and the pictures. Skilful adult questioning will point children in the direction of the messages about co-operation. Read the other brilliant stories by this author.

Lovely book for the kids
It's a sweet little story about 3 quarreling frogs with a simple moral: playing together is more fun than fighting. A good lesson for any set of siblings. Well illustrated and simply written. Very enjoyable.

Great for quarrelling siblings
A wee story about sharing and learning to live together. Beautiful illustrations and lots of amphibians hopping about throughout the pages.
