I have had about 10 of these over my life. When I first opened this one it was a little confusing. Unlike others, it is meant to somewhat go over the roof of your car as well. The poles are meant to give it the shape and hold it down in the weather, a nice touch as most others had a tendency to not maintain their cover in any wind. I also like that it has two flaps on the side to secure in your door, two different sizes to give you options. I am not a fan of straps as where I am it tends to sometimes go above freezing in the day and way below at night. What has happened many times is the straps freeze and when you go to take them off your mirror you just break the strap, where flaps don't have that issue. This has both so you can do it whichever way you like. There are separate mirror covers that you can use that are unattached to the window cover, which I also like. They are massive! Probably designed for the largest truck mirror you can imagine. I could fit 3 of my honda mirrors into this bag!Summary: Works well, some good improvements over the basic design, easy to remove and put on, flaps and straps (+ from me) and huge mirror protection bags. Excellent.

I finally got the opportunity to use this windshield cover the day before yesterday when we had our first snow. It was nice to go out and not have to scrap ice and snow off my windshield before having to go out and drive.It was fairly easy to put on my car by myself and I was lust lucky the wind hadn't started yet or it may have been a bit of a problem for me being as short as I am. The fit wasn't far off being universal. Now that I have done it once I won't hesitate to pit it in place before every snow.I normally stay home for days after a snow but my husband was waiting to come home from the hospital after his third heart attack and I didn't want to send him home in an UBER.Folding it when you're in a hurry isn't so easy, getting it to sit in the space it did before use, especially since it is so cold but I had no time to spare at the moment to worry about getting it neat and tidy. I will see how it is to work with now that I have a little more time on my hands.

I'm very impressed with this unit. Along the sides, are some plastic support poles, which keep the sides straight while on the vehicle. This is great for keeping the cover in place when there are light winds. The mirror protectors are not physically connected to the window protector, and they are easy to take on and off separately. When storing, the support poles can be broken down, and you can keep the window portion inside one of the mirror bags (and put the other mirror bag in there as well). It takes only a couple of minutes to assemble and install. The materials will not scratch your window with normal use.I have not tried the security features, however I expect when in use, the security features will also help keep the protector in place when there are windy conditions.

I got this windshield and side mirror cover for my husband to use now that cold weather is upon us. We do not have a carport or garage so our vehicles are out in the open. He also has to be at work super early in the mornings and never has time for his windows to fully defrost, especially if the windshield is icy. This cover works great and it covers the side mirrors as well. It’s very easy to use and it’s made of heavy duty, thick weatherproof material. I believe this will last for quite some time. It seems to be made with high quality materials.
