FossilMen's Sports Watch with Stainless Steel, Silicone, or Leather Band

This particular color is always out of stock so I was glad to finally score one at a good price. The first thing I did was take off the metal link band and replace it with a nice orange seatbelt strap to match the second hand and really complete the dive watch look. This also really lightened the watch up, making it more comfortable. The case is pretty low profile for a dive watch, which I like. I have quite a few bulky dive watches in my collection and their weight makes them cumbersome to wear sometimes. I like Fossils because they're very decent watches for the price. They're more expensive looking than a cheap Timex but inexpensive enough to not worry about scuffing them up during everyday use. Their designs are catchy but not flashy or gawdy and they're very affordable. I'm glad Fossil brought back the Fossil Blue line of dive watches.

the price on these fluctuate quite a bit, so keep an eye on it and you should be able to get it as low as $85, if you're patient. watch prices can really get crazy but this is a solidly made, good looking watch. some fossil watches even look a lot like waaaay more pricey rolexes. 97% of people probably couldn't tell the difference unless they looked REALLY close. i'm sorry but there's no way i'm spending several thousands of dollars on something that just tells the time and date. i don't have to worry if this gets banged up, lost or even stolen.i did buy an invictica watch that looked very similar and was a little cheaper but there was a big difference in the quality. invictica is junk, imo. spend $20-30 more on a fossil or even a little more on a seiko.

It is a fashion watch, not a dive watch. You probably wouldn't wear this doing projects on your 'honey-do' list because of the mineral crystal. But it looks good, keeps good time and you get a working bezel!The band is heavy but is unique and dresses up the watch.The con: There is an absurd looking lump of glass on the face to magnify the date. Bad idea. It looks like an immovable drop of water and doesn't make the date easy to read. It will be the first part to scratch, which might make the date reading more difficult.Decent watch overall, but with a flaw.

The dial looks good, but the mianese strap is of very poor quality.
