Versatile, multiple modes work well, great for camping and power outages
Bought these cuties for camping and I am really impressed. They're compact, collapsible and the multiple modes work as they should. It's bright enough to see where you're going in the middle of the night if you're camping, while also providing excellent diffused light in your tent. The candle flicker option is really nice as you wind down for the night. The built-in clip allows the unit to hang down and again, is perfect for camping tents. For power outages, the base is flat, so you can just put the unit on a table. Love that the unit glows in the dark after you turn it off. Free residual light (just enough) and it lasts for hours. Battery life is excellent even when using full power. I plan on buying more of them.Suggestions for the manufacturer- Make the power button stick out a bit more or burn an emblem on it so you can find the button by "feeling for it" in the dark. It's hard to find the button when it's over your head in a tent. It would be great to also have a solid RED mode (no strobing).

Awesome for camping
I love how bright they are and how you can change them to a candle setting. They glow for an hour or so after you turn them off.

Handy to have in a powere outage
I like the size and fact that they are collapsible so take up no room when not in use. Will fit nicely in a drawer til needed. They give a decent amount of light and in a power outage its helpful to be able to set on a table. Haven't had to really use them yet,, but they worked fine when I tried them out..

Smaller
I got this 2 pack thinking it was a great deal for another one of these lanterns, turns out I didn't notice they were the AAA version, which actually is great, they're smaller and work about the same, still a good deal though I was expecting orange and got green and blue, functionally though they're great.

Great little lantern.
This is a smaller version of a collapsible lantern that I already own. They are great for power outages and to take to the storm cellar. They will glow in the dark for many hours after they are turned off making them easy to find when needed.

Must-haves for camping, small and compact
I have two similar camping lights I bought from an LL Bean outlet but have now been discontinued. We liked those so much that I wanted to find more like them. Enter Amazon and its litany of knock offs. These are almost identical with three noticeable downsides - the battery cap/bottom doesn’t stay on nearly as well (as in it will come off in your hand if you use it to swat mosquitoes away from your face while moving the light from the picnic table to your chair’s side table), the silicone top won’t stay fully in place and sometimes can come apart at the seal, and it doesn’t have the color change mode. The modes are bright AF, less intrusively bright, steady candle light, flickering candle light, and off. Best parts of these little guys is their compact size (top silicone folds into itself), the silicone top will glow in the dark for a little while after you turn off the light, and there’s a d-ring/carabiner clip in the bottom. Overall, the price is fantastic for two despite its shortcomings. Would buy again. Would pay more for better quality.

Great little light !
These are a smaller version of an older one I had the the rubber dome had finally torn on. Still great quality with several dim settings and the dome still has the glow built in once you turn it off. Nice to have around the house if lights go out or you need to see into a spot but don't want to hold a flashlight. Great for camping too.

The good and the not-so-good for tent camping
I purchased this for backcountry camping out of a backpack. Weight, features and packable shape were important characteristics for selecting it.Bight LED lights are everywhere, the same is true with this. At the brightest setting it illuminates an entire small campsite well-enough for me (photo attached is of highest setting). The 2nd setting (lesser white light) was more than bright enough to read inside the tent for me. The collapsible silicone dome works well so far.Two serious disappointments for me though which I am forced to try and work around inside a tent:-) the power switch is absolutely flush with the exterior and imperceptible when trying to turn on it on the dark. All you can do is fumble around in a trial-and-error fashion trying to locate it which can be frustrating when you are half-asleep and don't want have to focus or concentrate.-) the sequence of illumination modes goes from brightest -> dimmest - this is NOT good when you have to wake overnight in a tent and you need to quietly/discreetly slip outside with this light. When it starts with the brightest setting first in pitch black at close range, it stuns your eyes and wakes anyone else in the tent unless you can conceal it somehow, like in your sleeping bag - but again you are forced to wake up and concentrate. Other serious outdoor companies like Petzl and Black Diamond know this and their lights power on in reverse order low->high. If it first could come on in the candle mode, that would be a great improvement. After returning home from first-and-only, I used a hot-melt glue gun to make a couple of dots on the switch to locate it easily - I just did this, have not idea if they will last (and not peel off). For the 2nd issue, I don't have a good workaround yet, other then perhaps power on inside sleeping bag.

Best LED lantern
Best LED lantern I have found. Compact, adequately bright, sits on table or hangs, and has several modes, Including a candle effect. Lee Valley used to carry it but no more.

Camping light.
I don't know why the title is "UST Learn & Live Educational Card Set" (maybe they will fix that at some point). I received two small camping lights which is what I wanted. They are really bright. The flicker feature is not quite what I was looking for but they still work really nicely. They glow in the dark which is actually helpful. I use them in some pierced lanterns. Would recommend.
