Perfect for group cell shots. Very sturdy construction. excellent value for the money. It was designed for use on a tripod or as a stand alone device. A very versatile addition to my photo gear.

A couple of other reviews raised concern about slippage of the position adjustments. On the unit I received, this is not a problem - the joints are easily adjustable, but fairly tight, at least for now. I don't see slippage with an iPhone 16 Pro Max (in a case). Pulling open the spring-loaded clamp requires considerable force, when mounting a large phone. The way I do it: use one edge of the phone to push the extendable part open until the bottom edge clears the stationary part. One other thing to note: there is a 1/4" threaded hole for tripod mounting, but there is no 3/8" threaded hole.

Very well made. Very lightweight. I was excited when I unpacked it, but then disappointed when I couldn't get my S25 Ultra, with a very thin case, to seat completely. It holds it, just barely, but it would be much more reassuring if it opened just an 1/8th of an inch wider.

Quite nice, can make live streams on Instagram while I shoot videos with my FX3

The rotation of the clamp isn't solidly registered at zero or at 90 degrees. it's a soft stop and the phone will tilt a bit when you touch it. You'll see this as a tilting of the frame between shots if you're not very careful.

I have two, they are a good product IMO... the clamp that holds the phone is very strong, great if you're riding a bike or something. However, it was too strong for casual use. So, on one end of the clamp there is a screw (that is the metal rod you see when stretched open). Each screw has a spring around it. Take one screw out, take the spring off, put screw back in... perfect force achieved!!!

This phone holder is made of metal and feels sturdy and well built. My iPhone 17 Pro Max with a case fits inside, but just barely. It holds the phone securely, though it is at the maximum size limit.
