Minor's Beef Base, Great for Soup Broth and Sauces, 0 Grams Trans Fat, No Added MSG, 16 oz Tub (Pack of 3)

To make good stroganoff one Needs strong beef flavor. I’ve tried everything else but this is only one that has flavor I want others are a waste of money

I have tried approximately 6 other similar products. Minor’ s Beef Base has won over all the others as my favorite. I drink a cup or 2 every evening after taking my medications. I have some swallowing issues with a couple of my pills and this helps them to get where they are supposed to be! It has great beef flavor. I use it when cooking a beef roast as seasoning and broth for baking that enhances the roast flavor and tenderness. The only disadvantage to the broth is if I use too much, there is too much saltiness for my taste. I have tried the low sodium product but I did not like it as much as the original one. An unfortunate thing is that every time I go to order, the price is higher. Seems like every week or so they raise the price. It is about to price it self out of the market. I know we are in an unusual market but hopefully when the market improves, the price will come down some. Otherwise I love this product. I am looking at other similar concentrates because of this cost.

This is an excellent beef base, we add it to lots of cooking and it gives an excellent flavor

I say human grade because the food I make for my dogs is basically a stew. It's more than just a regular stew as I add both fruits and vegetables, like both apples and blueberries with carrots, tomatoes and peas. The protein can be hamburger, ground turkey, chicken or something else that's reasonably priced and I always add a grain like rice, lentils, oats, beans, etc. The base for this stew is THIS - beef stock and I can tell you from experience that it tastes good! The base and protein pretty much give their stew/food a good flavor that they like and when I've tasted it, I'd eat it myself! Oh, don't get me wrong, I have made a meatless soup wth this base - I had carrots, onions, cabbage, celery, potatoes and a few other vegges on hand but no meat at the time and this base made a great vegetable soup that was quite filling when paired with a chunk of home made buttered bread! This beef base is saving me money and that's what's important to me these days.

Delicious. I added a tablespoon to a quart of water and brought it to a boil and it became a delightful draft of beefy tasting broth. No more canned broth. No more plastic boxes of broth. Bought chicken and beef flavors sitting in my fridge. Thinking about the vegetable flavor. A tablespoon in a container of water makes soup. It’s crazy.
