I was working with 6 awg wire which the crimped eyelet connector fit great. I have a ressetable 40amp breaker between this shutoff and the battery. Good smooth switch action and I like the size for my Dash Panel on a deck boat. I wish vendors would show the hole cutout. I measured 1.125 (1-1/8") diameter on the threads and 1.0625 (1-1/16") on the flats. Flats are vertical so I am going for either a simple 1.1875 (1-3/16") hole or 3d printed plate that has a 1.1875 (1-3/16") diameter hole and 1.125 (1-1/8") on the flats. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No more dead battery *by on Reviewed in the United States May 20, 2026* Fixed a slow drain on my battery. I placed it on the inside of my old truck to make it easier to turn off and on without going under the hood. Also, be aware this will stop all power from the battery.
