Ended up with Plantar Fascilitis after standing ironing for 3 hours. Sudden sharp pain in heel and arch. Worse when I got out of bed the next day. So painful couldn't walk very far at all. Pain niggled at me all day. Chiropodist recommended exercises by standing on stairs and letting heels drop below to stretch the achilles tendon which apparently is part of the problem. This helped but needed something so I could walk without feeling I was walking on bare bone. The gel sock has been marvellous from the minute I put it on. I have used cool gel on my heel with the sock and now I can at least walk comfortably in my shoes and carry on with daily tasks. Got a bit blase about it after a while and tried a day without the gel sock. That was a mistake, my foot was so sore. Gel sock brought instant relief for standing. At night I wore a different sock that was quite firm and stopped my foot from dropping into the relaxed position which shortened the ligament and caused all the problems in the morning. It helps to exercise your foot before getting out of bed - less pain. Three weeks into this problem now and I feel it is slowly healing, pain much less and I feel comfortable to walk. I shan't be ditching the gel sock though until I am convinced it has well healed. Not going through this again! Gel sock worked for me so would recommend. I have worn it all day everyday for 3 weeks, so may need to get another when it wears out.

The gel is beginning to peel off from the sock after using for a few times.

I wore this to help a bad pain which was on the back of my heel bone. The gel pad certainly eased the pain as I walked and shock absorbed when my heel made contact with the ground. Unfortunately, I had to stop wearing it as I developed a rash from the gel as I wore the support under my sock directly against my skin. I would advise wearing this over your sock, (not a good look though)!

Very comfortable to wear great bit of kit easy to fit

I have suffered with achilles tedonopathy for a couple of years to the point where some days I struggle to walk due to the pain and discomfort in my heels and ankles. Whilst this product can be a little uncomfortable in that it feels a bit like a "lazy sock" I have noticed a reduction in the impact on my heels when I walk. I'm not sure if they should be worn al the time or how long they will last but for the moment I am getting some relief from the pain so whilst they're not a miracle cure they might help.**UPDATE** Good while it lasted! After a couple of weeks of use the gel pad has come away from the sock which makes them difficult to put on and take off. Pretty much unusable now sadly.

The silicon gel detached from the sock after a couple of weeks. Do not waste your money on them.

Perfect for ankle and heel support. Soft gel pad gives support and easy to wear.

This foot support was bought for me by my husband. It seemed alright, it helped a little but it felt a little loose. For less than half this items price we were able to buy a similar product from Savers Store which were of much better quality and supported my ankle well.

Das Fersenpolster ist ok. Wozu aber bitte ist auf der Oberseite auch nochmal ein riesiges Silikonpolster angebracht? Das erschließt sich mir nicht. Trägt leider auch sehr auf, eh schon knappe Schuhe könnten dann nicht mehr passen. Außerdem sind sie sehr eng und haben sehr eingeschnitten, konnte sie daher nicht lange tragen.
