This is a handy product for filling a capsule. Due to a titanium dioxide allergy, I am allergic to the capsule of a primary medication and need to transfer the contents to a new capsule - one at a time. Otherwise, I’d have to pay a compounding pharmacy $75 a month to do the same thing. My doctor trusted me to do this on my own. So daily, I break the moisture and light-sensitive capsule and pour the contents into the “Funnel tray” and then pour slowly into the new capsule to use immediately. I use a colored plate to see/capture any medicine beads that roll out.I haven’t had to use the tampers or spoons: These would be more useful for powders. However, they are very good quality, and I like that it all comes in a carry case for travel and storage.This was the only tray funnel I could find and the holder accommodates different sized capsules. I had tried a regular metal funnel before purchasing this product, but it had a seam that caught the medicine beads. This is a fantastic find for my needs.

The price is affordable, and the quality is great.

I am using components of this kit to evenly divide 15 mg capsules of a prescription drug into 3, 5 mg capsules. For that process, I empty the 15 mg capsule into the provided metal scoop-funnel with the pointed end. I then tilt and vibrate the scoop so that the powder collects into a 1"-long section along one of the long corners of the scoop. Then, using the small brush with the kit, I divide off 1/3 of the long section of powder and push it into an awaiting empty capsule. That is then repeated twice with the rest of the powder. I realize that there may be better ways to do this division, but this works for me.In my application I use only the metal scoop and the brush in the kit. I'm surprised that the brush works as well as it does.One criticism is the small metal holder with the holes that's provided for holding opened capsules upright. The holder doesn't hold my capsules at a consistent angle. Instead, I made my own capsule holder by drilling holes with a drill press into a piece of hardwood. That is much more stable.Otherwise this is a fine product.

Bought this to help make pills of nootropic mushrooms and it is the perfect little kit. Compact, easy to use, and has lots of options for any size pill casing.

Has exactly what's needed to pack capsules of all common sizes. Capsule holder and powder tray make the difference!

I only use the presser to compress the power inside...but using a regular plastic straw and putting your finger over the top and releasing the powder into the capsule is way faster and less messy.Use a straw to pickup and dispense. Maybe see if you can find the stamper/presser separately.

I was very pleased with this. The quality is wonderful. I ended up buying a tray to fill more than one capsule at a time, but still use the tools from this kit. Definitely with the money.

It has everything you need without too much redundancy. This is the kit you need for filling your own capsules.
