Lightning Jack - DVD (1994)

Paul Hogan and Cuba Gooding Jnr. movie, for me, a very funny movie, Paul Hogan's Lightning Jack wants to be a famous outlaw with a great price on his head, the other soon to be outlaw, is Ben Doyle, Cuba Gooding Jnr. who it turns out, is wiser than most people think, Ben works in a store, and is treated like a dogs body, but then he meets Jack who takes Ben hostage while robbing a bank, and after Jack lets Ben go, Ben decides there and then, he wants to be an outlaw, and he joins Jack's gang, or rather, he becomes the only other member of Jack's gang, and the laughter begins, especially when Ben shoots himself in the foot, watch the rest for a good laugh, well worth watching

When the DVD arrived .. I wasn't sure if it was a fake copy .. Cover / disc photo looked grainy .. But the picture was fine .. Just don't blow it up to full screen as it gets a bit blured.. But as it plays its fine .. Plays perfectly on Region 2 (UK) DVD players , A good film .. If not a tad slower than I rememberd, but pleased I've got it on dvd

I have sought this DVD out on several occasions. Originally it could not be got in a region 2 format. Paul Hogan has a manner about him that generate the likability formula. This needless to say, although meant as a western, has Paul Hogan's stamp all over it. Cuba Gooding Jnr plays a mute person that is befriended by Hogan's character. Cuba's expressions speak volumes. The climax of the film makes the whole thing worthwhile watching. I thoroughly recommend this DVD.

This film is an old funny classic but the dvd quality is awful, picture appears at about half my screen and maxing it makes it blocky as hell.

Loved this movie when I first saw. it reminded me off cacus Jack. been looking for a copy, for a while.

Lightning Jack starring Paul Hogan is so funny & a classic!Sadly it seems to be very underrated! I was so please to track it down at last!If you like Paul Hogan, then you will like this for sure! :-)

I really enjoyed the movie just wish the deleted parts were in extres , I love to watch as it's interesting to see why they missed them out also if any bloopers
