When you first listen to Emily's Army you're reminded of the first time you heard Green Day. That's because the band's second full length album Lost at Seventeen was produced by Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day. The album holds no punches and has 16 tracks of fast, pop driven Punk Rock in the veins of Green Day, the Clash, and Operation Ivy. Lost at Seventeen might be the first you've heard of Emily's Army, but it certainly won't be the last.

I really connect with this album
I remember the release of 'Dont be a dick' in 2011 when I first heard of the band. I had just left school and had nothing better to do. I grew to love that album. When the band announced a new album and a tour of the UK, I had to go. The show was amazing and I purchased this album. Musically, it sounds great. The guitars sound so classic in tone and the bass so prominent. I love the lyrics and the songs, and I would go as far as feeling moved. This album is one of those that I can truly connect with for reasons unknown. I advise you buy this album, because this band are going to be huge. Buying this album is a TRUE hipster cash in opportunity, if nothing else....

About three songs that grabbed me
Which is not bad for a band recommended to me by my 13-year-old daughter. They were original, energetic and passionate. Some of the others reminded me of The Ramones, which would have been OK at one time, but sounds a bit tired now. The rest didn't particularly inspire, but I haven't had time to listen to them a lot and let them grow on me. Overall, this is a band I'd like to hear more of, even if I can't give them a rave review yet. The fact that they can give me three songs from one album that I do rate is a good start.

Great Pop Punk
Despite this band being very young the sound on this album is tight and polished. Stays true to older pop punk (eg. old Greenday, Descendents) without being boring or repetitive. The lyrics are in places very well written and the playing is great throughout.Tracks to download: Digital Drugs, Avenue, War

Brilliant second album
Love the cleaner crisp sound of the new album, the lyrics are awesome, a good teen punk album; it's great to see a young band making it in such an independent way. The album downloaded to my computer quickly and the audio quality is great.
