Finally a lock that is easy to set the numbers. It is open on both sides to turn the numbers! So much better than the small, very hard to turn dials on the bottom of the last Master lock I tried.I don't know how well it will fare outside, however, so I put a plastic baggie over it to help keep moisture out. I also bought a bolt cutter in case of the inevitable . . . .

I ordered this because I lost my old padlock for the gym lockers. This lock is nice in that it's super easy to choose and set a new password. Overall, it seems like it will do the job to keep my stuff secure at the gym, though there are a couple things you might want to be aware of.1. I might be losing it, but I could have sworn that virtually every other lock I've owned has unbolted on the left side of the lock. This makes it easy to single-handedly remove the lock, as it slides in from the right side of the locker. However, this one unbolts on the right side, meaning you have to insert from the left side. This makes it so you have to put your hand at an awkward angle to get it on the locker if you're right handed. It seems like it's more designed for left-handed people despite it not being advertised as such, as it will be much more natural for them to insert from the left side.2. The construction on this definitely does not feel as solid as something like a MasterLock, so I'm not sure how well it would hold up if you're going for maximum security.

**Update-the seller learned of my defective lock and graciously sent me a new, replacement lock to resolve my issue. I am satisfied with the level of customer service and the sellers willingness to make things right. I put this 4-digit combination lock on my gate and now I cannot get it off. I set the 4-digit combination lock with an easy to remember series of numbers. The first time out it worked great. The next time I tried to enter the combination lock it would not open. I kept dialing up the numbers and after multiple attempts it opened. I didn't try to enter the combination lock for more than a week and when I tried to open the lock it would not open. So, this lock is not easy to use. It is sturdy though because even with bolt cutters I cannot cut it off. I plan to sharpen my bolt cutters and attempt to cut the lock again. I chose the combination lock so I would not have to use or potential lose the keys to a regular pad lock. It was a good idea at the time, today, not so much.

This lock feels very sturdy and is easy to open. This lock feels just as sturdy as the big brand locks at a better price. I got this for my younger daughter to use at school and it serves that purpose well. It certainly feels sturdy enough for that purpose. I can't comment on how durable it is because we've only been using it for a few months, and nobody has tried to cut the lock. One thing I noticed with this lock is the shackle is larger than the comparable circular dial padlock. With the larger shackle, you could more easily use this lock with a chain to lock up your bike and put two or even three links within the shackle. I haven't tested this but may reuse the lock for that purpose once my daughter is done using it for school. I would recommend this lock.

Disecu 4 digit combo lock silver:+ Heavy + solid. Hopefully, heavy duty.- Instructions don't make sense. Had to rely on flamand's review to figure it out.TO RESET THE NUMBERS:1. Two sides of lock. Make sure you use the side with the raised dots between the numbers. Dial numbers to 0000, lift bar + open.2. Swing bar to fit the raised notch on bar bottom into the hole on the back of the lock. Push bar down, then turn bar left until it stops, the bar won't be behind or in front of the lock, but to the side of of the lock. Spin the numbers up or down, either way, to your desired combo.3. Move bar back behind lock so you can lift it back up through the hole, then swing into locking position.My rating is based on lack of clear instructions, which is absolutely necessary to set a combination lock and then be able to open it up again.NOTE: The combination can be reset again + again.

This seems like a decent light duty lock. As other reviewers have stated, it might not be the best at securing very high dollar items, but it should work decently enough on a locker or shed. It would definitely detour someone who doesn't want to take the time to deal with a lock.

These are nice combination locks. Unlike other locks where there are only 3 digits thereby making it easy to break into, these are 4 digit locks. So far they are accurate and what I liked is each digit when you turn them has a notch feel to it.3-month UPDATE: So far been using this lock for 3 months outdoors and so far it is just like new. It still works and no sign of rust. They are still working fine and the digit selectors still work like new
