I had to buy this one as the computing and coding was so good and my 9 year old was very happy with it.Engineering and Mechanics did not disappoint!He is enjoying working with it.No doubt we will buy more from this series!Thank you 😊

My son loves these Minecraft books and just sat there and did a few of them in a weekend!

We have several books from this series and this is just as good.Lots of bitesize information presented in an accessible way with lots of illustrations.My boys are dyslexic and this makes it so much easier without being childish.

My grandson has read and worked through this book several times and is now asking for the others in the set. That's Christmas sorted! Thoroughly recommended for children with enquiring minds.

I love this idea and it's a great way to align kids interests with their learning. The book offers loads of detail and gets progressively more challenging always including a side of Minecraft to make it fun.

I got this book with my 10 year old son in mind. The book is 'easy' for him to read, and he enjoys the minecraft game. However, he tends to be more interested in more 1-on-1 challenging games at the moment.These books did get him playing again briefly, and he is nagging me to get our server working again, but actually doing the challenges from the book waned quickly. I don't think that this is an issue with the book itself, just that he 'knows' minecraft to the level that he wants already and at the moment 'education' is 'boring'.If your child is a good reader (i.e. the reading won't put them off, or you are willing to sit there and read it to them), then this book will help to explain some of the concepts and how to work out the challenges within minecraft from first principles themselves.

I've got this to try with my 11 year old. Although it is a bit young for her and she did find the exercises fairly easy I found that she actually engaged with it and has done everything because it involves Minecraft. I have given here quite a few books to try various subjects but this is the best of them. The level of difficulty is more aimed at my 9 year old so would recommend for that unless, like me, you just want your kid to sit quietly and do some practice exercises and happens to love Minecraft.
