JVR Chicken Coop Light with Timer- Automatic Smart LED Laylight Daylight Extension to Boost Egg Production

It takes time and a lot of patience. I found lots of info on the door but not the coop lights. Finally reached out after lots of failed attempts (the instructions that come with it are very basic imo). I reached out by email and the company was very responsive! They sent a video of a slightly different timer, but even I was able to figure it out. Now I don't have to worry about it for a very long time. I appreciate so much that they responded. Otherwise I would've had to return it and I just love it.

I programmed it and had it working. Then it simply stopped turning my lights on after it worked great for two weeks. I spent several more days cramped into my chicken coop tinkering with it trying to figure out what went wrong. The directions don’t address anything. Can’t get a refund or a return. For such an expensive product- you could by a $10 timer and a $10 regular work light and have $50 saved.

If you have chickens and live where it gets darker early when winter comes around, you know how egg production diminishes! This light is perfect at offering your hens the added hours of light they need in order to produce daily eggs. Works great! Easy to install, easy to use!

I was really disappointed in this chicken coop light. The power supply would not plug in all the way so the device cannot get power. I'm returning. Disappointed.

We mainly just use this as a timer light so we don't have to use a flashlight in the evening to collect eggs.

Super easy to install in the coop, with easy controls. I ran an extension cord from my garage out to my coop to power the heated bowls over winter, so I just plugged this in as well. Now my chickens have a more set circadian rhythm that keep them laying all year long.

'd been trying to figure out a good way to add some low-power LED lights on a timer for our chickens using just batteries or a small solar panel when I stumbled across this unit. It's basically everything I needed except for the solar panel and battery (which I already have). It doesn't put out a ton of light, but it's more than enough for the chickens to stay awake (and be able to find their way up onto the roosting bars). I like that it's in a tough weatherproof box so that the sensitive electronics will be protected from all the dust and stuff in the coop.

This worked very well until about a week after the return date. Then, one by one, the lights stopped working. I've had it for less than 2 months and it doesn't work at all now.
