Red Star Yeast is consistent. It works great for my bread. I can't find it in the store, so I'm glad I found it here.

Good value product. It keeps well when refrigerated and works out to be a fraction of the cost. If you like to bake, this works well and saves money.

If you do lots of baking you will want this for both quantity and quality. Put an ounce in a small jar to keep on the shelf and put the rest in your freezer.

Came nicely vacuum sealed, decent price and expiration date is way ahead in time too... I used it and it seems to rise my bread nicely. This is the best yeast I've found for making bread. I like it because it's a lot simpler to measure out what I need for bread instead of using the packets. I make bread about every week so I've been getting a lot of use out of this yeast.
