Cannot beat for large hardware in critical application
Red Loctite is great for big, critical hardware applications. I usually default to blue Loctite for just about all the applications I find, but this time I was replacing wheel bearings and disc brake mounts on a 1 ton pickup, so that included both big hardware AND critical applications - really don't want those working loose over the next 50,000 miles!!! That would be a heck of a surprise. As usual, very easy to use in the tube - just apply a bit to the leading edge of the threads, run the bolt in, and torque it down. Of course, removing hardware with red Loctite is no joke but there's always heat if needed! That also means that the hold is fantastic and again, shouldn't work loose until it's intentionally persuaded with force and/or heat. So ease of removal is not easy at all - but that's the point! Applying out of the tube is very easy: just open the cap and cut off a tiny edge of the nozzle, then apply just a little bit (I've learned not to apply too much - it's just unneeded). Definitely not messy either, which is fantastic. When you apply it to threads, it really clings to the threads, allowing you time to get it in place and run down to torque. But it's also just runny enough to really work its way down into the threads. So overall, if you need to make sure a big piece of critical hardware doesn't move until you absolutely need it to, there's no better option that this red Loctite!

Awesome product.
This works again as advertised, i used it to install my V6 muzzle brake on my KSG and it worked great, that thing has not flinched a millimeter from when i first set it and it's been there for months and hundreds of rounds mostly slugs or 00 buck shot out of it, i think i've shot about 6 shells of birdshot in my life and not with this shotgun. It just works for weapons applications just make sure what you're using it for you're not intending to remove regularly cuz i would assume it would suck for you then, use the blue loctite instead which i have for regular bolts and such.

Great price
It's Loctite what can you say. It works how it should. Great price for the large bottle.

Keeps nuts from coming loose.
Nuts on bolts come loose, this stops that.

expensive for what you get
they sell it in milliliters to make it look like your getting a lot, but for the price your getting this tiny tube with just a bit inside. i haven't use it yet, because i don't need to lock things down just yet, i know the blue version tends to fail over time. but for the value, i might as well just epoxy things on in the future.
