I tried a cheaper brand and it didn’t even fit right. This filter is easy to install and has great suction power.

The other reviews the filter you screw in at the top does not fit whatsoever.. however the problem lies in the seal around the top of the filter where it screws in. In the original there is a soft foam piece that tucks up in there really nicely. In the Amazon one it is a chintzy rubber ring like a Madonna bracelet . Unfortunately it prevents it from being able to press in deep enough to latch. See second photo to see the ring I'm talking about. I simply switched out the phone ring in the original with the rubber ring in the second photo and now it fits perfectly.

Filter for my eyevac

When I received the filer in the glue wouldnt allow me to place into my eyevac. I had to get a razor blade and get it all off before it would screw in. That was the only problem. But it fits perfect.

I loved the fun emails I got after purchase of my EyeVac :) this is a spare filter so I can wash/dry one, and use this. It arrived promptly and the emails made me laugh! What more could I ask for? I am so excited to have this device, and the filters, as my pets never seem to stop shedding. I swear I am still sweeping up fur/hair from a beloved pet who has been gone 8 years (extra long black hair!). Having a spare filter to wash will help keep the hair-in-the-air to a minimum!

Fits perfectly it does have to screw at an angle. I think that’s why some people are like it doesn’t fit!! It’s for all professional eye vac’s

I checked before buying, and it said it would fit my EyeVac, (model # EVEPRO) but it does not. It looks like it will, but for some reason, if I lock it in place in the container lid, it will not line up to the tube inside.--making the lid to the container not seat down properly. If I leave it unlocked to the lid to get it to fit on the tube and the lid to fit right, I can't even close the container into the base. Will be returning and try to find one that does fit. Disappointed.
