I bought this to replace an older HP ink jet printer. It prints clearer and faster than expected. The set up was easy over Wi-Fi, approximately 10 minutes from start to finish. The printer did not come with a USB cable. The Brother app for Android was easy to set up and use and works as expected. I would recommend this printer.

I have only had this printer for a few days and I hope this review is not too early, but it is really wonderful. This one replaces an older version that was not wi-fi enabled and worked well only with a cable hook up. I was very happy with that one too, but the cable did not work with my newer model Mac, so I researched for a laser printer that had wi-fi and the cable connection ability (in case my wi-fi was out). This model does both very well. The cable connection worked right away, and the wi-fi did too after we followed the video instructions. Just know that the device is not a full blown printer with a copier and color capability. I got really sick of those printers that always ran out of ink quickly, this laser printer works a long time before needing a new cartridge.

I had an older Brother printer that was 15 years old. This one is lighter but also made like most things today, more flimsy. I noticed that especially with the paper tray. It feels like one drop would shatter it. I have an older Mac and though the wired setup was easy as most reviewers mentioned. But getting the wifi setup was a pain. I followed directions and it still took several hours. I unplugged modem, printer, computer off multiple times and it would still not recognize the printer. What finally worked for me was dumping the driver and reloading. This time it automatically pulled up Bonjour and airprint which made things easier and the wi-fi works! Woo hoo! I have High Sierra (yeah, I know) so wasn't sure the wireless would connect. It prints well, and does print out of deep sleep which I didn't expect from other reviews. I hope this printer lasts as long as my old one, but since most products die faster now I would be surprised. I did not setup refresh because I don't print much and all the reviewers said it is highly annoying and full of ads. I didn't have to load any software - just the driver. I don't print from my phone so would probably have to download the app which was where folks were getting constant ads and updates. Wish it copied like my old printer but it's about 1/2 the price so you get what you pay for!

If you don't need to print in color and don't mind not beeing able to connect throgh wifi to your printer this if for you. Design : I don't really care how it looks as long as it does the job. Size: Medium about the size of a generic cartboard box Noise level: Its okey. I wouldnt use it at a libery but its also not so bad that you wont be able to hear yourself when its printing. Paper Jam: I've only had one paper jam. But it was easy to fix. Value for money: I would say its worth the money. I choose this one because I hate what HP is doing woth its printers where you have to pay a subscription to use the printer you already bought. If this printer dosnt work just make sure you dont buy from HP. There is better alternatives, ones that will respect you and your money.

This printer was easy to set up and connect to WiFi. It prints fast and the text looks sharp and clear. The compact size fits well on a desk. It works well for everyday printing at home. Good choice for simple black and white printing.

I really like my new brothers printer. I ran into a little snag using the instruction link but did an update on my laptop and it installed perfectly. Using with iPhone connects right away. It is quiet. Prints beautifully. Small sturdy and a great buy for me. I like not having to mess with liquid cartridge as they dry up so fast. Paper feeder works great too. I recommend.

Great printer for a small business or home office. Setup was pretty easy. I highly recommend when you set up the printer to only install the printer driver, the basic driver, and nothing more. Brother installs a lot of bloatware, nagware, and subscription service reminders if you install the full Brother Print Scan Utility. These will tie up system resources, and you'll get pop up reminders to buy more ink, install a driver update, buy more ink, buy more ink. Very annoying but the printer itself is great.

Para imprimir documentos en casa es excelente está impresora, buena calidad de imagen, con bandeja para 250 hojas y equipo compacto pero de buena estructura.

Muy buena, pero gasta mucha tinta por impresión, aunque pongas "draft" en config. Pero imprime excelente y nunca he tenido problema con conexión a mi compu / cel.
