This is a great microwave. I bought it to replace a smaller one that still worked, but annoyed me because there was no release button for opening the door. Instead, you had to yank it open which resulted in the microwave moving around a lot, leading to occasional spillage of whatever was inside. This one is larger and somewhat more powerful than my old one was, has a "door open" button, and for those who have small children around (which I don't anymore), and have to store your microwave at a level where small hands can get hold of it, you have the option of setting the microwave so that you cannot open the door without pressing a special door lock option. (You can also disable that, which I did., because mine is up high). It is spacious, attractive, and does the job perfectly. Highly recommend.

Very nice microwave. An ease to operate. Large cavity and heats very well. It’s a nice looking and effective kitchen appliance.

This is a very sharp microwave oven—no pun intended. It's noticeably quieter and gets things done with the same amount of cooking. It's much hotter than the old oven, rated at the same 1100 watts. It's a great microwave oven—worth owning. I'm pleased with the transaction.

I've been using this for about 3 months and it works and is consistent but the safety door lock is annoying. It's probably less annoying than on other microwaves as it's now a requirement, but dang. I miss the days you can just open the door when it's done or in the middle of cooking when you see things boiling over. The way it's implemented on this microwave is usable, but not seamless. On the positives, it looks good, cooks and defrosts well, and is big so I haven't had to worry about the size of what I put in it to heat up.

Needed a new microwave. Ours was so old, I’m donating it to the Smithsonian Museum. Bought this one and I see what I’ve been missing. This microwave does everything and it’s easy to use. I’m so glad we picked this one!

Nice and quiet! Fits our space and has all the functions we need. Was light enough for me to lift on my own.

It worked great for 7 months then it quit working. We've always had good luck with Sharp products before so hoping this was just a fluke.
