Thank you to our vet for getting the Rx in very quickly, once that is done the shipping is very fast, we have a dog with KD and we don't want her to have CORN in her food due to potential skin allergy issues! Read the label on your dog food. This is a quality kibble, its a little large for a small dog but you could break it up. we were thankful to find Amazon sells this as with Prime its much cheaper than the other guys. only negative would be it should ship in a "box" and not a vinyl mailer, this has the potential to rip open. Blue Buffalo is a good quality dog food.

So far so good my dog hates most dry food that she is allowed to eat and at 20 years young, deaf and blind.. she tore this up.. I normally have to buy her wet food for her kidneys… chewy Messed up and sent us cat food(the forza10active wet renal) that looks the same as the dog food.. I needed something quick and Amazon Rufus came through with a recommendation … my dog can’t stand the Hills brand( wet or dry) or the forza dry but this was a hit…

I like the kibble for my teeny 6 pound Chi with kidney problems. The only thing I do not like is the size of the kibble and how hard it is to soften. My dogs eat Blue’s dog food. The kibble of regular dog food is the right size for small aging dogs. The Kidney kibble is too big & I can’t understand why they produce a disc size kibble

My dog was recently put on a special kidney diet. She refused to eat the usual recommendations from the vet - both wet and dry. I found a couple options on Amazon and decided to try Blue Buffalo. She does prefer wet food - now that she's gotten picky - so I mix this with some warm water and then add in some wet. So far she has been eating it! I consider that a win.

I’ve tried all the kidney prescription diets for my Yorkie and this is the only one he will snack on. Unfortunately he doesn’t think it’s tasty enough to eat as his sole source of nutrition. Big downside is the kibble size. Kibble is too big for a toothless 4 lb 15 year old yorkie. I have to crack every piece with a hammer. Unfortunately, Blue Buffalo only makes this product in one size.

My 15 year old Chorkie had to go on a kidney diet. She wouldn't eat any of the foods my vet recommended. My other dog has eaten Blue Buffalo Salmon food for years, on which food I put her because of allergies.When I saw that BB had a kidney diet, I bought it hoping she'd eat it. She did and it's now her regular food. More importantly, all of her blood work shows that the food is doing what it is supposed to do. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The product was great, but the process for ordering prescription food from Amazon was inconvenient and caused delays in getting the food. I’ve switched to ordering the same product from my vet (bigger bag at a better price).
