Simplifying the styling routine
In the quest for the perfect hair day, this styling brush introduced a new contender to my arsenal. With the promise of combining the effects of a curling wand and a comb, it was hard to resist trying. The experience was enlightening. It offered a way to style my hair without the usual hassle or time commitment. The anti-static feature was a boon, keeping frizz at bay and making each strand more manageable. While it didn't revolutionize my morning routine, it added a level of versatility and ease that was previously lacking. For those mornings when every minute counts, it's proven to be a reliable ally for looking put-together with minimal effort. Perfect for those seeking simplicity in their styling tools.

Heats up straight away.
ProsThe brush heats up quickly and the different parts of it , ie brush and a built in comb make it easy to use on your hair without getting tangledIt is easy to hold and lightweightCurls the hair easily and thanks to the comb element can also partially straighten hair as well.ConsI personally think it is too big as a travelling item which was one of the rate features. The ion button is not that easy to operate once you have wound hair around the brush . It would have made far more sense to have it more accessible when the brush is in use.I personally don't like the colour - but that's a personal thing.

Very hot, sparse bristles
We didn't really get on with this brush. The temperature seems too hot for the finer hair that I have tried it on. There is a gap between the two halves of the bristles which means that if you are not really careful the brush can be pulled on to the skin and hurt the recipient. There is supposedly a voice prompt, but we never heard any noises from the brush, so can't say what it was meant to prompt you on.After a lot of attempts we managed to get some very loose waves in to the hair, but it ended up somewhat underwhelming.I will try and convince the model to try it again, but I am not sure how successful I will be

How Hot is too Hot
This is notA little unnerving when you get a glove to protect you from the heat, and then the heat does radiate when on so you start wondering if its too hot as there is no protection like you get with tongues. So my review is to try and help on that - fine hair should be heated no more than between 180-200 degrees (c) and only course hair should go higher than this.So I tested this with my trusty thermal imaging camera and as you can see it maxed out at 160 so its actually lower than 180 which means its going to struggle with most hair especially course so only get if you have fine or coloured hair.

Worked well for me
I was very keen to try out this heated brush, and I have used several hair devices over the years and they don't always live up to expectation since they tend to have a limitation in one or another area. The brush is easy to work with - there's a simple on and off switch that beeps when it's engaged, then omits another beep when it has heated. This gets hot in no time and there is no way of changing the temperature as it has no settings from what I could find, so it would be advisable to use heated protection on your hair! Thankfully, there is a heat protection glove that comes with the brush which works pretty well.I also like that the power cord that comes out of the brush isn't rigid and allows flexibility, so you don't feel it weighting towards a constant direction. Using the heated brush is okay for everyday styles, and I've used it to create volume and softer curls and waves - nothing elaborate, and it has turned out as I want it to. It also isn't really going to replace a hair dryer, since this is more of a styling brush that's focused on one specific thing.I think what would make this more versatile is additional heating modes, to make it more suitable for more kinds of hair. I think it's quite a decent brush - the size of the handle makes directing the brush easy and it worked well for my hair.

Fantastic for styling
This brush is smaller than the ones we have used before and is focused on styling your hair, not drying it. It will naturally dry your hair as it heats it up but it’s not as good at that as a bigger heated brush. This is very good at curling. My hair is short so my wife has been using it and it very happy with the results. However, she wasn’t overly happy with the lack of settings. Using heat protection on your hair is required as it gets quite hot.And it does get hot fast. It’s ready to go very quickly and once heated up it’s easy to hold and use. It’s light weight and a good shape. The cord is flexible and the whole thing just flows. For its intended purpose, this does really well and is easy to use. We’re happy with it.

Nice quality
Nicely boxed item, ideal for self or present.Pros: Decent long cord, with a swivel, so it won't get tangled. You can plug it in on the left and use it with your right hand, no stretching or staying near a plug.Comes with a heat protect glove and a comb thing to clean the hair off the brush. The brush doesn't move unless you move it - so hair wont get tangled in a motorHeats up well and is used like tongs, but as a brush.Cons: Only negative is that the style doesn't stay for long, however this is probably due to my fine longer hair and not the product, so I haven't removed any stars. My hair is longer than shoulder length and fine. I think if I had a short bob or short layers, and thicker hair, this would be magic. The second time I used it, I also used more thickening product and hairspray, and it did hold better. I like it and it is a plus from me.
