Wooden chalkboard beer tap handle for kegerator, Made of natural Walnut wood, 8.3" Length, beer lover gift …

I bought this as a gift for a friend who is also a home brewer. every time anyone went over to the kegorator they would ask which tap was which; I should note, that I ask every time I pour a beer just to be annoying, usually while I am pouring it. The tap handle was easy to install, but I got a good laugh that it wasn't just screw one off and replace with the other, he had to make minor adjustments with the lower ridged screw piece as well (not an expert here, but it is the piece that actually places pressure on the valve). I got a few extra ounces of beer in my glass, that I was forced to drink, as the piece did not apply proper pressure to keep the valve closed, I call that a plus. I would have liked to have some chalk included - but he had a bunch laying around in his kid's room. All and all it is really nice, and was well received - he installed the handles within ten minutes of opening them; I'm guessing it would have been quicker, but I wanted a beer, and to ask him which tap was which again.

I love these tap handles. I've been researching different handles and these ones are very well made. I love the hops engraving on them. The down side is, you think you could use chalk or chalk pencils on them but that's just a disaster In the making. I finally found Cedars liquid markers on Amazon. These markers come in 12 different colors and easily clean off with a wet paper towel. And this is why am giving 5 stars all around.

I love the handle and the engraving, but the chalkboard itself isn’t the greatest to use with chalkboard pens. Hopefully it doesn’t stain the board and ruin it --- EDIT --- one year later and it's still awesome! The chalk markers work vey well and wipe off easily with water. My boyfriend and I have rotated through many different beers and have had no issues with the tap handle.

These handles are completely worth the price in my opinion!Word to the wise: Perhaps purchase more than you need to make sure you get ones that match enough.I ordered 4 (different designs) and the tones of the stain don't quite match between them. Also sometimes it seems the stain doesn't make it all the way inside the etched design. If you look at the photos I attached, you can see that one of the four is rather light in comparison and one of the "H" handles has what looks to be missing/light/chipped staining.Overall I think these are some of the best looking options available.

We change draught beers often and instead of waiting on a handle from the beer rep I saw this one on Amazon. We can use chalk to write the kind of beer on there that has been tapped. Works great and it looks good

Purchased 2 of these to replace the black plastic handles on our dual tap kegerator. They’re beautiful quality and fit well side by side. We love that there’s lots of space to label each tap. See photo.Would highly recommend!

I ordered two that arrived today. I haven't used them yet, but just from taking them out of the packaging and inspecting them they already have exceeded my expectations. The laser engraving looks really good. Can't wait to put them on my kegerator!

Product looks and feels high quality. We get lots of complements! The downside (hence the 3 stars) is the “chalkboard” material is slick. I have yet to find a writing instrument that does not rub off when beer thirsty hands grab them to pour beer. I also ordered two and the ribbing on the screw parts are different so they each tighten slightly different. For them to both face perfectly the same way one has to be not as tight as I would like.
