When You Gotta Cut Stuff, You Gotta Cut Stuff
Sometimes you just need to cut stuff — and these Dremel EZ476 cut-off wheels get the job done. The EZ Lock system is brilliant: no tiny screws, no fumbling with a screwdriver, just pop it on and you’re cutting in seconds. It really does make accessory changes way faster. They slice through plastic and plexiglass cleanly, with minimal melting or rough edges. They also last longer than the standard fiberglass-reinforced wheels — but let’s be real, if you’re doing a lot of cutting, you’ll still go through them. At this price point, I’ve already blown through a couple of packs without regret.Bottom Line:Fast changes, clean cuts, and decent durability for the job. They work great… until you need another pack. And you will.

Easy to change and cut, long performance
I recently had the opportunity to use the Dremel EZ476 1 1/2 inch EZ Lock Rotary Tool for plastic cutting, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The EZ Lock feature makes changing the cutting wheel a breeze, saving me valuable time and effort. The cutting performance of the Dremel EZ476 is exceptional. It effortlessly glides through plastic, providing clean and precise cuts every time. I was able to achieve smooth edges without any signs of melting or chipping, which is essential for my projects. The tool's ergonomic design and lightweight feel made it comfortable to use for extended periods without causing any strain on my hand.Additionally, the Dremel EZ476 offers excellent versatility. It can handle various thicknesses of plastic, allowing me to work on a wide range of projects with ease. Whether I needed to cut through a thin plastic sheet or a thicker plastic piece, this tool delivered consistent results.Overall, I highly recommend the Dremel EZ476 1 1/2 inch EZ Lock Rotary Tool for plastic cutting. Its ease of use, exceptional cutting performance, and versatility make it a must-have tool for anyone working with plastic materials.

I used these to cut rooster spurs
The thin wheels did work but after doing the 2 spurs, the cutting wheel was done for. Next time I will try the regular and not the thin wheel.I placed the rooster's spur on a piece of tile and then I cut through the spur so as not to hit the concrete below.

Cut 1/8" acrylic no problem.
After having used these plastic cutting discs, I'm convinced the negative reviews saying they don't work are from the same people leaving negative reviews on carbon steel pans because they don't work like Teflon pans. I had no issue cutting 1/8" acrylic panels with a cheap Harbor Freight rotory tool set to the 3rd speed setting. I clamped a thin board to the top and bottom of the panel I was cutting to give myself a guide and make the cut as straight as possible. After sanding and torching, the edge looked almost perfect. The trick is to just take your time and don't force it. I cut all 4 panels with one disc and it looks barley used, that said, they still feel expensive for what you get, hence the 4 instead of 5 stars. Ultimately, I would recommend them for craft and hobby projects where you need to cut plastic. There's less risk of cracking the panel with these than with a jigsaw, even with a plexiglass blade in it, at least from my personal experience.

Cuts steel screw heads easily
Great product. Fair price. Thin cutting wheel can be used to free up stripped screws. Simply cut a deeper screwdriver slot in the steel or brass screw head. Cut a deeper slot in a steel screw head like butter.

Quality is there, life as expected, cut well, overpriced though.
I needed these discs to cut floor pans in my Camaro where I could not fit a full sized angle grinder and cutting wheel to make an accurate cut. These will cut 20ga steel, you can get a lot of detail and fine cuts suitable to weld. Though my rating is based on the quality, they are overpriced for what they are. Firstly I knew they wouldn’t last long, but it took nearly 4 discs to cut one floor pan. Compared to a 4” disc on a standard grinder, that will cut a car in half, but these are 4x the price. These are standard discs no different than cheaper alternatives, I would probably seek a cheaper off brand in the future.

Excellent Cutter for Dremel Tools.
These work great at cutting almost anything. With the EZ-Lock Mandrel they come off and on in seconds. I've cut metal, plastic, wood and probably other things too. However they are not very rugged and can break quite easily if abused. If you use them with care you won't have a problem. But if you apply too much pressure you can crack them. If you lay the tool down, do not put anything on it or push on it as you can easily crack the disc. But once I broke one, I took more care after that and remove the disc from the mandrel when storing the tool and have not broken any more discs. The other problem is that they wear quickly. If you only occasionally need a disc cutter like this, it could last you quite awhile. Even with the quick wear, I still buy them because I can change to a fresh disc quickly and get the job done. If I am going to do a lot of metal cutting, I use metal cutting discs that mount to a different type of mandrel that secures the cutting disc with a screw. These are a lot cheaper but take more time to change discs.Overall though I still like these Dremel EZ-Lock discs and will continue to buy them. And if you have any problems or need parts for any Dremel tools, Dremel has one of the best customer service departments I have ever encountered. Don't buy imitations, buy Dremel.
