Napoleon 64000 Rotisserie Basket Grill Accessory, Stainless Steel

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to use with my Weber Searwood xl 600 and Weber rotisserie motor and spit. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. I use this basket pretty much 90% of the time with party wings and it works wonderfully; juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside. It takes about an hour depending on the amount and size of wings but I typically grill about 3-4 lbs of wings.I use cooking spray as other reviewers suggest and it makes cleaning less of a hassle.

I purchased this rotisserie basket for my new Napoleon rogue Grill. I also purchased the Napoleon rotisserie kit with it. This is probably one of the most liked features of my grill.The basket is easy to install, after an initial first time use. The latch on it is extremely secure, and once you get used to it it is very easy to open and close it.If you spray the entire basket with Pam, it is extremely easy to clean. I also spray the rotisserie rod with Pam too so this comes clean too. A quick wipe with a sponge and all the food drippings comes right off. If you don't do this, it will be difficult to clean the basket.My basket held approximately 30 wings and it had plenty of room for more. All the wings actually toss in the basket as it's going around so all of them are equally done. I plan on doing ribs, and jalapenos in it shortly.People who are complaining that it's too hard to open, have to realize, you have weight inside the basket and if it doesn't secure perfectly, the basket will open. Once you learn the little trick and what to push and pull, you'll have no problems with it at all.I have many barbecue tools and accessories, and this basket is my favorite. There is so much you can do with it. You can easily put a nice size pork tenderloin in it, ribs, a pork roast, Chicken wings, breasts, legs, and every other poultry product.The basket fit my Rouge perfectly and there was room on the bottom for a foil pan to catch drippings.This is a solid built product with nice thick mesh cage, sturdy lock, and absolutely excellent quality.

So far,, I only used this for wings.. I gotta say, it’s so much easier than cooking wings in the oven!! I just season my wings, and load the basket! Turn the rotisserie on and just let it go for a little over an hour, they are tender and crispy!! Just add hot sauce and you’re good to go!! I’m sure it make great fries, and veggies!

This things is amazing!! It is very well made, versatile, and just the right size. I also own the OneGrill Performer Series Universal Fit Grill Rotisserie Spit Rod Basket; Stainless Steel Tumble & Flat Basket in One. While the latter is nice, as well, the Napoleon is more versatile, far easier to use and clean, and does not require the removal of grill grates, etc. that the OneGrill requires even on my commercial Bull Angus grill. You can cook chicken wings (probably its best use), loose kabobs and veggies, potatoes, fries, etc. Possibilities are endless. The lugs to tighten to the spit are robust and large allowing for a good purchase. A must have.

Well made stainless basket. It’s a bit tight on the joetissere but will fit with turn screws tightened correctly. You must use a good non stick spray to help with cleaning or it’s a complete mess, high temp spray. I use duck fat spray - so far so good. Love the way it cooks wings. I use it on my Akorn Auto Kamodo. Hint for cleaning besides a good soak, use a steal mesh pad, like a cast iron cleaner mesh pad. The latch is tough to open until you get the technique down. Built tough.

Use this on my Weber to grill marinated chicken gizzards…really does a great job; hit it with a touch of vegetable spray before using and it cleans up in the dishwasher. Also use it to grill beef hearts that I gave cut into strips, keeps them from falling through the grill grate.

What a great addition for my grill… use it for wings, legs, etc. holds 4 lbs of wings ( about 20) …. No hassle to watch …

Outstanding product! Made the Old Bay wings from seriouseats.com exactly like the recipe but just dumped them in the basket instead of turning the oven on. Nice option when the summer heat is here. Wings came out perfectly!
