About eight years ago, when prices were higher and options were more limited, we put a few LED strip lights under the cabinets for about $75 and it was a worthwhile upgrade.We have an overhead fixture in our smallish kitchen so, when we’re at the counter, our bodies block the light from shining where we need it most. Adding under-cabinet lighting was the winning solution and it gave the kitchen a warmer, more inviting look.Fast forward a few years and a few dark spots had me considering this 6 Pack Dimmable Puck Light set which seemed like it would have more reach.What I wasn't expecting is that it puts out about four times the light of that first set and at less than half the price. We thought full power was too bright when we first installed them but now we can’t imagine being without it. It's all the light we need, where we need it, with no glare.Not only can we see everything that we’re working on better but the kitchen just looks better with improved lighting. We now just use these to illuminate the whole kitchen (and the light in the hood over the stove when cooking).We bought a second set for mom and she had the same take. Great light, where you need it, with the fixtures hidden.No matter what LED lighting you may be shopping for, consider something in the warmer color range (2,000-3,500 Kelvin) as opposed to the cold blue (5,000-6,000 Kelvin).Installing this was straightforward but I did opt for a staple gun, with rounded edge staples, to neatly tack up the excess wiring. The power supply box, where all the puck lights connect, is a lightweight, plastic item so secure it with doubled sided tape or the lights could flicker with any jiggles.Also try setting it all out on the counter, in line with where you plan to install them first. If you can centralize the power supply you will maximize the reach of each puck light. Better to find ahead of time if you need to adjust things before you've stapled the wires in place.Highly recommended.

They look so pretty and super easy to install!

I put these up under my back bar over the mirror. The remote is great for brightness and dimming the lights. I purchased a pack of 6 and they are great. There is plenty of wire so you have room to space out the lights. This is one reason I chose this product due to the lengthy wire from these lights. They all worked on the small junction box you get and from there to the dimmer cord and then the plug. THIS WILL NOT WORK IF YOU HAVE A WALL DIMMER SWITCH ALREADY IN PLACE, they just shut off if used. The remote is the ONLY way to dim these light so make sure before you buy.The other issue is the way they are secured, the screws supplied are way too small and you can't unscrew the lens, of the light, to screw the base down to anything. The other type I use in the past had this option and made it much more secure when fastening these down. The little screws supplied, are too small to bite into anything and then you have to fit the whole light on them and slide to lock it in....the screws move! I found this to be a pain.... The two way tape supplied is NOT that great so if this is your only way of securing these lights using the included tape, get a better type-- (3M type). The small wire clips are great and stick to anything. also, the template you use for the screws are good as well, too bad the screws are NOT a bit longer.I do recommend these, if your good and patient with DIY's and the price is fantastic too. I would purchase again, now that I know what to expect. They can become very bright but I purchases the soft white for a better look. I am sure the "Day light" type are very bright. You can use the remote to set your light brightness and then put it away, it'll stay that way when you turn on the wall switch for power.

These lights work perfectly in my little library. The adhesive mounts are holding firm, and the lights provide a nice bright glow.
