Works as expected.
Good design. But be aware that if your ssd is not bare (the circuit board is covered with some branded thick film) you will not be able to close the enclosure.

Easy to Use
This is very easy to use. Installs easily and quickly. I found all my partitioned drives even the C drive but it's locked. I am happy with this. I haven't used it long enough to check the heat dissipation on this.

Used To Cloned Laptop Drive
I used it to cloned my laptop drive to a compatible 4 TB M.2 SSD. After cloning, I installed the cloned drive into my laptop. Laptop is booting and operating without issues.

Works well for my 3x4 ssd card
This enclosure arrived and I had no trouble putting it to work. It is set up to accept the standard sizes of NVMe M.2 ssd cards. I installed a 2280 card with no problem. The enclosure comes with short USB-C cords to connect to USB-A and USB-C ports. It also contains several of those little bitty screws etc.I had my ssd card installed and plugged in to the USB hub in just a couple minutes.I ran some read and write tests and the throughput is very similar to the throughput I have obtained from that same ssd when it was installed in other enclosures I have tested.I put thermal paste pads onto the ssd but I could not get the enclosure reassembled with them in place. Since my ssd is a PCIe3x4, it doesn't really get very warm so I just removed the paste pads. I ran BlackMagicSpeedTest continuously on the assembly for quite a while and it never slowed down and the enclosure stayed only lukewarm. I'm not worried. If I had a high performance ssd, I would probably choose a different enclosure that would be more thermal paste friendly.
