Quadra-Fire Firepot Gasket for Mt. Vernon AE & Edge60 Pellet Units

It actually arrived a day sooner than promised and is a perfect fit. I had the burnpot all apart, so it was nice to be able to get this gasket quickly so I could get it all back together. And I ordered a spare so I'll be better prepared for next time I need one. But good to know I can get parts quickly when I need them!

These paper-like gaskets easily rip when you pull out the fire pot so having replacements like these on hand are key to keeping the fire pot working efficiently. I have purchased many parts from Pellethead (via Amazon) for my Mt Vernon pellet stove and every part is a perfect fit and way less expensive than factory parts.

I pull the burn pot at the end of the season to get all the deposits off that I can't get with it installed. The gasket always falls apart, so I need to replace. This does the job. Don't overtighten the bolts when reinstalling. You can bend the steel bottom of the firebox and end up with a leak that this gasket WON'T seal until you get it back into shape... a friend told me.

The gasket and packaging suffered from having been folded such that the gasket was in two pieces, torn in two at the bolt holes. Useable, but difficult to work with.

I have a Quadrafire Mt Vernon AE and it dropped right into place. It even had the screw holes punched out. Easy fix!

This fit the way it was supposed to after the one installed at the factory came apart when I removed the fire pot the first time after 8 seasons. What else can I say, shipping was good and the item did what is was meant to do.

I received this gasket the other day. It was completely destroyed. Broken into pieces.
