This is a good protector for the table I put the Solo Mesa on. I was worried about not just wood popping and sending out an ember, but radiant heat from the stove as well damaging the table. This piece takes away any concern I had and works as advertised. Once you get it put it out in the sun to soften up and get the creases out from being folded up in transit to you.

The tiny tabletop solo stoves are fun for outdoor intimate gatherings around a table, out on a deck, or at a campsite. The concern is that embers will escape the pit and ignite an uncontrolled fire or that an ember might cause damage to a table or deck. Basically, it looks like a large, thick rubberized placemat. This mat adds a layer of assurance to continue using my fire pit safely.

This works well under the personal fire pits. Haven't had any issues with embers melting it, or the picnic table getting dangerously hot using this fire mat. It folds up nicely and fits in the stove bag.

This is a good size to use with the Mesa stove. The bottom is textured to help keep it from sliding. The top is smooth to the touch. Plenty of room around the stove to catch embers and protect surfaces. I was able to fold it and gently coerce it into the bag with the stove itself. A good accessory to have on hand!

Based on the images when I ordered this, I thought it would help prevent the table getting too hot under our mini tabletop firepit and protect a short distance out away from it, but this mat is huge! Which is great because even if things spark out or spill you have a large coverage area of protection. The mat seems to be good quality, and is coated to be resistant to flames and oil, as well as easy to clean. It's way better and more useful of a product than I thought it would be, and obviously this could go under larger fire pits and mini grills, or be used to sit other hot things on such as when cooking indoors or outside.

This mat is ideal for my small tabletop fire pit, offering effective protection against heat and potential embers. Despite arriving folded, it flattened nicely upon opening. The surface proved easy to clean, effortlessly wiping away ashes with a damp paper towel. The sturdy stitching adds to its durability, making it a valuable addition to our fire pit's "go box" for travel.

Nice to have as an extra layer of protection.

Excellent Fire Pit Mat. Fire Proof - fire resistant and flame-retardant properties, withstanding high temperatures up to 1800 degree F. Larger than I thought it would be leaving plenty of room around my fire pit. The diameter of the fire pit mat is approximately 20". It has a non-slip bottom that protects the tabletop you have your fire pit on from burns, scratches, grease splatters, etc. Looks great too. Good quality mat that gives you the extra protection you need for any specks of fire that may spark out of your fire pit. Cleans easily with just a gentle wipe or rinse of a rag. If you have a fire pit, then you need this fire pit mat.
