Fast, Quiet, and Functional for a Great Price!
This device has outstanding computing performance for the price and size that it is.General home/office computing is completely feasible with this device.I use the Debian Linux operating system with the XFCE Desktop Environment with this device. It works like a dream! There are sufficient ports on this device for Ethernet, USB, HDMI, and so forth.I am very satisfied with the communications from Newsmay Technology as well, they are an amazing team and dedicating to supporting customers like me!Thank you Newsmay Technology, and I highly recommend their products to anyone interested!

N100 POE IN,8+128GB
Fast, stable and easy to setup. I have to say I am impressed with this machine.I am using it in my home as a firewall device. The PC is fanless and silent, the aluminum case is thick as one massive heatsink it stays cool. Setting it up was a breeze, thanks to the preinstalled Windows OS.

Gets hot, terrible IO delays with the storage.
Updated: I've dropped this to 1 star due to ongoing performance issues. This machine has gone down for unknown reasons multiple times over the past month, but the biggest problem is with storage IO delays. Using fio I'm seeing ~760kB/sec random read and 340kB/sec random write speeds....I'm not sure if this is the storage or controller or what...but this is terrible.Original: I got this to be an upgrade for my router/firewall with Opnsense and a few days in I'm not impressed. Does it run, yes, but performance is significantly worse than my TP-Link ER605 was, even without any advanced firewall features enabled. My Bufferbloat grade dropped from an A to a C by switching from the DR605v2 to this running Opnsense. CPU utilization does not appear to be the problem, at least when monitoring CPU usage.I've got 5 other mini PCs. One of them is another N100 and the rest are more powerful AMDs. It's somewhat understandable that the fanless would run hotter, but this is the hottest of all my mini PCs. I decided to add a fan to the top to at least cool it down some. I'm not sure if temperature is what is holding it back or not. The only reason I went the fanless route was for the 4 NICs, but that won't matter if I can't even get good performance with two of them in use.I've not yet found any shaper settings that help with the score but will continue to look for ways to tune settings and update this review if things improve.

works with pfsense
Fast, stable and easy to setup. Weird interface order in pfsense. I couldn't find a wifi adapter that fits the computer and would work with pfsense in client mode. Manufacture website makes a cheap impression. Not sure if there will be ever bios updates.

A little extra in this fanless PC
I like fanless PCs sice they have no moving parts and are able to work for years in difficult to access places requirimg minimal service (just an occasional remote connection to perform updates etc). This one is the best I got so far. This is the first industrial PC I have. The industrial ones I've seen on the market before had outdated processors and as a result higher power consumprion which is important for my application. This one is among the best in terms of power consumption and the heat dissipation is excelent which is important for my application as it runs 24/7 at around 90% CPU utilization. Being an industrial PC this one does not have the usual audio output or a card slot or wifi or bluetooth but it has plenty of room for extending. You can put a high apacity SATA HDD/SDD in it in addition to the m.2 SDD that it comes with. If you need wifi or bluetooth there is an m.2 space for it and the antennas are included. For the wifi/bluetooth I got a NETELY Wireless-AC 8260NGW module and it worked right away. There is also a space for an LTE/5G module which I am still waiting to arrive. I've never had a PC with an integrated WAN and I'm excited to try it out! That would greatly simplify the setup in my application. I'll update the review when I get the LTE/5G module expected in early February.

whisper-quiet operation, thanks to its fanless design
I recently acquired a fanless mini PC gateway, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations as a replacement for my traditional PC setup. One of its standout features is its whisper-quiet operation, thanks to its fanless design. The abundance of rich interfaces caters perfectly to all my connectivity needs, boasting a generous count of 6 USB ports.Setting it up was a breeze, thanks to the preinstalled Windows OS. In fact, the entire process took me less than 5 minutes, making it an exceptionally user-friendly experience. Overall, this mini PC gateway has seamlessly integrated into my workflow, offering both performance and convenience in one sleek package.

Box is okay - POE+ is dead
Been running this as a proxmox VM with pfsense and ubuntu for about a week in testing only. POE+ worked for little while but now seems to be dead. It only works if I plug the power adapter in but not if I provide power via POE+. This sucks. Looked into BIOS setting but couldn't find anything in reference to POE otherwise this could've been a nice system.

Neosmay Firewall Device
I needed a firewall device for my home network and I did quite a bit of looking around.I have seen some positive reviews of other Neosmay products, so I thought I would give them a try.I have to say I am very impressed. This this is one massive heatsink (so no fans needed) it stays cool and feels very well built.I already had other parts around so I only needed the bare-bones model. It has a place to install a WIFI card if needed and after further research it can also be used a stand alone router!I am glad I came across Neosmay and if their other products are as well built as this, I won't hesitate to try one of their Mini PC's.
