This works great for an under sink R/O unit things to do though
I connected mine to my under sink Culligan R/O from the tank to the spicket on top of the sink. UVA-1C light kills 99.99 of any viruses, bacteria, fungus, matter etc. You have to have an under the sink electrical source to plug it in and you want to plug it into a extension cord that has a GPI switch and a separate on and off switch. If you have a 2 gallon storage R/O tank under the sink, you want to have 1/2 gallon bottles to fill up at a time. You can usually get (2) 1/2 gallon jugs gallon of processed water from a 2 storage gallon tank. You only turn on the filter when you are going to fill up 1/2 gallon bottles, you do not leave it on all the time. It will increase the life of the bulb if you turn it off, save electricity by turning it off when you are not needing it. I have a 2 gallon ceramic cistern on a stand in the kitchen that I keep filled up as well in addition to (4) 1/2 gallon jugs. That way, you will always have at least 4 gallons of water on hand in case city water gets turned off. Oh, by doing it this way, the filters on the R/O unit will last longer, versus using the R/O spicket off and on to fill a glass or whatever. that type of use of the R/O unit will cause the filters not to last as long versus filling up 1/2 gallon jugs at a time or filling the cistern up.This is the same process that Culligan uses at their stores using the UVC light for bottled water they sell.

1/4 MNPT must be Chinese sizing
Not sure what spec the use to cut their npt but on my unit it is cut too deep. No 1/4 Fnpt will tighten up.I guess i will gak it extra tape and anticipate a flooded basement in the future.Update, so far no leaks, with 5 wraps of tape.

"Stainless" steel is rusting after a few months. $90 down the drain, literally.
Well, worked fine, I guess for a few months. Then the fittings started leaking which caused me take it apart to replace the elbows. Once it was apart, I noticed a chunk of rust forming inside one of the outlets. All 5 of my RO filters are a brand new at the same time I installed this UV system.Couldn't get pictures very good due to the location of the rust. I used my inspection camera on the second photo and it wouldn't focus at that distance but you can see the brown rust.Hoping the seller will replace or refund since the chamber is supposed to have a 7 year warranty but couldn't even make it to 5 months. I've bypassed it for now so I can have clean water to drink again.

Power unit failed
I though the bulb burned out after 3000 hours, so a bought another bulb. It didn't work either. So I tested the power source, Dead as a door nail. Nothing. So I have a worthless power supply and two good bulbs. Throwing the whole thing out and looking for another manufacturer.
