Needed this for one recipe (corned beef). Wish it came in a smaller package size because I feel like it’ll go to waste. I also wish it had a label that says not made for normal consumption as this is not meant to be used as table salt, only for curing.

Perfect for making jerky in your dehydrator
This amount of curing salt is pretty much going to be a lifetime supply of what I need to cure meat as jerky for my dehydrator. 1 teaspoon is enough to brine 5 lbs of meat. This is equivalent to Prague powder number one with 6.25% sodium nitrate so it is suitable for wet brining of raw meat to prevent botulism contamination of your product.
