For people, like me, who suffer from dry mouth, this gum is a god send. Sorry that I did not learn of it far earlier.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!********************I got this because my dentist was telling me about the benefits of Xylitol on gums and since I have periodontal disease, I will try anything that has the possibility of helping. I think the idea here is that dry mouth negatively affects the gums so the more moist your mouth is, the healthier your gums will be. I have had "quench" gum before that you get a sporting store like REI, that are a bit sour so it causes your mouth to overproduce saliva to help "quench" your thirst (like running a marathon but you don't want to drink too much water or don't have any available). This doesn't do that, instead it helps to bring additional moisture in small amounts over time. So your mouth is moist for longer periods of time.I like the flavor, I ordered spearmint, and seems to last a decent amount of time. There are gums that last longer and gums that last less time, so I would say there are about average. I really like that they aren't super sweet, because they don't contain any sugar or aspartame and instead use Xylitol as a sweetener. Each piece is about the same size as Dentyne Ice, or another gum that comes in a slide out pack you push through foil to remove, but these came in a supplement type bottle. This is the one drawback, I wish they came with a better storage option, like a Pez dispenser that could be refilled as needed.Overall, I would recommend this gum if you have dry mouth and would like to handle that while freshening your breath. I like this gum a good amount - I got it to help keep my mouth occupied so I don't idly consume as much food when I'm bored or stressed. I like that it's xylitol gum which results in it being lower calories than regular gum is.The flavor is a good strength. It's not like a 5 gum in strength, so not overpowering. I do wish that the flavor lasted a bit longer. The mouth feel is pretty good - it stays soft for a good long while. It's definitely not the right gum for blowing bubbles with.In terms of size per piece I find that 1 doesn't feel like enough gum so I usually end up going for 3 pieces though sometimes 2 hits the spot. At the current price of $15 a bottle, that feels a little pricey - but then that comes out to about 45 cents a serving assuming a 3-piece serving which is actually reasonable.

For whatever reason, I always crave gum at night before going to sleep. Maybe chewing makes me sleepy, I don't know. But anyway, since I've already brushed my teeth and what not, I prefer sugar free, xylitol gum which this is! I wish they made the packaging more fun and not so medicinal but it's whatever I guess!Anyway, the gum pieces have a nice crunchy coating. The spearmint flavor is delish. It does have a very mild bitterness but it doesn't last. The gum isn't overly soft but definitely not too hard to chew. A pretty nice consistency actually. Flavor wise, it lasts a decent amount of time but not as long lasting as some. Even within the first 10 minutes or so, you notice the flavor slowly fade. The mild flavor then lasts a few hours. After that, I wouldn't know as I don't chew it for long enough. It does help to moisten your mouth though.Anyway, this is a fine option. Nothing super stand out but no major issues either.

Over the years, I have tried most of the dry mouth sprays and rinses that you can buy at the grocery store to help alleviate dry mouth. OraCoat XyliGum Sugar Free Chewing Gum is much better at reducing dry mouth than the other similar products I have tried! It is very effective and tastes great too!I tried the spearmint flavor and immediately really liked the what-tastes-like-candy coating. The gum tastes very good too and its flavor lasts a long time.Hard to believe it is sugar-free. It does not have any bad aftertaste either. On the contrary, just a refreshing, fresh aftertaste is left.It is also more reasonably priced than the other dry mouth remedies I have tried, so it is a very good value too.I am extremely happy with this product and definitely highly recommend!

I like that this gun has xylitol so that it doesn't contribute to cavities.There are a lot of pieces in the bottle for the price.The taste is good, I got the spearmint.The gum is quite firm at first, but then softened up well.I have a lot of dental work, and this gun did not stick to anything.For the first several minutes it did feel hydrating, but then it didn't - at all. I was hoping the effect of overcoming dry mouth would last longer. I take medication that causes oral dryness, so I was hoping the effects of this would last longer.
