Just got these tie down straps. Very impressed so far. I used them to tie down my zero turn. They appear to be heavy duty. Not sure how long the safety clip will last, only time will tell. FYI the safety clip on these and Rhino brand are the same. In the past I use to buy the Harbor Freight black tie down straps and they work very well, however, like this brand they're only 10' long. I've purchased the camo "Smart Straps" from "Tractor Supply" those are pretty nice and longer at 14". The last brand I bought prior to these were the Rhino 1.6" X 15'. I must say the Rhino's appear to be the exact same as Fortem Brand. The feel, the stitching and material are all the same. If you need 15' tie downs you'll have to buy the high priced Rhino's. However, if you only need 10' tie downs straps, save your money and buy these. My rating on tie down straps I've used. # 1 Fortem because of price, otherwise Fortem and Rhino are the same just branded different (I think) #2 Rhino #3 Harbor Freight #4 Smart Straps for me they last about as long as Harbor Freight brand, but at twice the cost. Just so you know I have heavy equipment so I know a lot about tying down equipment. For heavy equipment I only use chains. I only use tie down straps for my 4,000 pound Tractor when taking it to the dealer 12 miles away in very rural area. longer distances I would chain. Zero turn 900 pounds. Golf Cart 1,400 pounds Honda MUV 700 side by side 1,500 pounds Save your money and buy the Fortem brand if you only need 10' straps, you'll be glad you did.

The product arrived quickly in a perfectly intact box. The straps are exactly as described and are well built for our use. We use them to secure motorcycles and a side by side. The green color is great too! Price is right in line with competitors but with a greater tensile strength and overall load capacity.

mit diesen Gurten und Haken und Ratschen kann man nichts verkehrt machen. Sie sind dermaßen robust, dass man das Gefühl hat man könnte auch ein Auto damit auf dem Anhänger befesigen. Das ganze Sortiment ist perfekt sortiert. Mit den ganzen Schlaufen und den Längen der Gurte ist man bestens bedient und kann nahezu alle Anforderungen im Befestigungsbereich damit lösen.

OK, so I'm a 48 year old woman, who has recently taken up kayaking! I want transporting my kayak to be secure & safe, & I really don't like messing about with time consuming ropes, or cheap, temperamental rachet straps! I want loading & offloading my trailer to be as efficient as possible, & I want to be confident that what I am towing is as secure and as safe as is possible! My first trip out, I had 2 cheap rachets & 3 lengths of rope.. it took me nearly an hour of messing about trying to secure the trailer, tieing knots & trying to get the rachets to work, which totally took the fun out of the experience! So when I got home, I decided to research quality rachet straps, & my search brought me to these absolute gems & I "treated" myself to them! Wow, these rachets really are awesome! I can load the trailer and secure it with 2 straps within 5 minutes. The figure of 8 loops are a great addition, making attaching the straps to the trailer so much easier. The rachet themselves are a solid construction. The handle is comfortable to use, & the straps can be threaded through them with ease! No worries that these rachets will pop open etc. The length of the straps are great, & the quality of them and their stitching are extremely strong and durable! The hooks are metal, coated with thick rubber, & the clip adds an extra bit of security. The storage bag is a nice touch, & makes looking after the straps far easier (look after your equipment and it takes care of you)! The bright green colour, meant that I could easily see & check them whilst travelling, & both my husband & father went a similar shade of green with envy when they saw this rachet kit.. & it takes a lot to impress them! I am confident these rachets will firmly hold a heavier load, & would be ideal for securing motorbikes etc. As for the customer service..well, I encountered a young, opportunist thief on my first outing, & contacted Fortem customer service to enquire as to purchasing a replacement part, and they were so helpful. Their motto is "Fortem, The extra mile" & no word of a lie, that is exactly what they did! They did something I really didn't expect, & it really made my day, & even brought tears to my eyes! What a company, & what a product!! I cannot recommend these rachets enough! Their quality, teamed with excellent customer service are fantastic value for money! If you're looking to invest in some decent, high quality straps, then this kit will not dissappoint!!
